Steampunk Noof

Good morning everyone, 

and welcome to another new friend and follower. 

I do hope you will feel at home here. 

Today I am popping in with another sample using some of the new stamps being released this Thursday (2nd March ) 

I thought I would mix some old and some new stamps.

As soon as I saw the new designs , 

I just knew that I had to dress Noof up.

I started by stamping Noof and adding some stencil work.

Since I created this sample we have some new stencils that would work even better with this design 

I also stamped a few of the new designs , added some colour and fussy cut them out..

Then the fun part, dressing up.

As you know I do like opposite corners….it is one of my quirks.

Here she is ready for the weekend.

Journal cover

Hi again everyone, 

Hope you are having a lovely afternoon, 

I have just been out for a walk with Eric, 

and now he is fast asleep in my craft room.

Showtime

Good morning everyone, 

I do hope today finds you well, 

Today is the day when we can start sharing our makes using the new stamps

These will be released on Thursday 2nd March,

Although these are a Steampunk themed Collection, I am hoping to show you how they can be used alongside our 

previous collections of Lavinia stamps. 

Today I am going to start with some Romance,, I absolutely loved creating this design 

I started with the fabulous new heart stamp.

This is going to be so useful. 

I added some background stencil work and some stamping 

Not too much , no pizza here 

Stamped out the heart again , with the pocket watch. Another very useful stamp 

Added some colour and cut them out, 

Next the fun part and assembling the card,

I couldn’t resist a couple of butterflies too.

So good to mix old and new stamps 

I just kept my colours the same to give a beautiful cohesive design, 

Some glossy accents and white posca pen  to finish off

Sunday catch up

Hi everyone 

Thanks so much for popping in today 

I am just home after a fabulous day at the Leigh sports village, 

The Sincerely yours paper craft show

It was so lovely to spend the day with James and Lisa on the Stampers Grove stand.

Look at all those goodies. 

This is one of my samples, and I spent the  day plying with Lavinia stamps and brusho powders. 

Some stamping to start off with , the floral corner design 

Next the addition of the brusho powders.

The air puffer is fabulous to use with Brusho’s 

Some finishing touches and extra stencil work…you know how I love to do this.

Friday catch up

Hi everyone, 

I hope today finds you well. 

I can’t believe that it is Friday already. 

I had a lovely few days with my Mum here.

We had lots of coffee , cake and catching up with friends. 

I drove  her back to Kendal on Wednesday and thank goodness the M6 was kind to me for both journeys. 

Yesterday it was grandma duties and the boys had a sleep over here…

I am now in my craft room sorting out my demonstrations ready for the sincerely yours  Papercraft show in Leigh this Sunday. 

I will be joining James and Lisa on the stampers grove stand.

So please pop in and say hi…

It is always so lovely to meet so many of you in person. 

I must admit though my craft room is a tip,,,,stuff everywhere

Mindful Monday with a Corner To Corner Design.

Hi everyone, 

I hope you had a lovely weekend. 

I had a lovely day on Saturday , at our Lavinia workshop in Warrington. 

Thanks so much ladies for asking me, it is always such a pleasure to spend time  with you all. 

As it is Monday, 

I have  another Mindful Monday video to share with you. 

Today we are going to create a lovely little piece of art using one of my favourite technique. 

I call it  Corner To Corner stamping, 

But obviously that is just my name for it..

If you remember we have used it a couple of times before, it is such fun and 

gives fabulous results.

Happy To Be In Print With Lavinia Stamps

Good morning everyone, 

We made it to Friday. 

I hope your day stated well, mine began with an early walk with Eric. 

He was moving so well this morning after physio this week and then his hot water bottle last night. 

This was our view as we walked 

Just stunning. 

Today I just wanted to share with you how excited I am, about being published in 

Creative Stamping Magazine 

I had so much fun creating these designs

Obviously there had to be a wreath card, I do love these circular card blanks 

And his about this shape too,

Some alcohol play.

And finally a Clean And Simple Design…

Which reminds me 

My next Lavinia Online Class is all about, 

Clean, Simple and Classy Designs.

I only charge £10 per class…it will be held in its own group on fb.

It will be live on Sat 18th Feb at 11am.

Then available as a catch up class, and can be viewed as many times as you wish.

Frosty Wednesday

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in today. 

I do hope you are keeping well. 

It was a cold and frosty dog walk this morning. 

I couldn’t resist taking this photo, the landscape was so beautiful.

Today I have a couple of cards to share with you. 

I have created them from two of the backgrounds from yesterdays YouTube video.

Here is a closer look. 

This was the panel background, I began by adding some stamping. 

Next I used a circle mask for some spotlighting 

My next background was just perfect for the pheasant stamp.

I used Midnight Blue Elements ink around the moon. 

Some pastel highlights and shading plus a sentiment and my design was complete.

Wow, look at that shimmer, 

The Mysticals are perfect for this. 

I’m off now for a lovely warm drink…hot chocolate today…
