Fabulous Weekend

Good evening everyone,
I hope you have had a lovely weekend.
I have been throughly spoilt as it was my Birthday.
I have had such wonderful hand crafted cards.

Wow, I am so proud of you all.

I also had flowers, chocolates,  bottles of bubbles ,  plants, and such amazing gifts.
Including the most amazing hand crafted items.
Honestly I am so lucky to have such wonderful friends.

Also a wonderful white Passion flower to plant in my garden.

So Thank you so much everyone,
I really appreciate you taking the time to think about me.

On Saturday morning we managed an online class looking at the Tissue technique and the Napkin technique.

These are my creations, I hope you like them.

The weather has been beautiful too.
We even had Elliot and Jenson for a sleep over...
It is amazing how much we packed into our weekend.
I hope you enjoyed yours too.

Another busy week ahead.

Take care

Good evening all,
I do hope you have had a good day.
I am getting so excited ,
we have a bank holiday and some better weather to look forwards too.

Today I have a lovely little project to share with you.

A mini book.
This would make a great gift, maybe a thank you gift .

You could add a little gift card inside too.

I have used stamps by Janet Klein and Stencils by Abs.
I have made a little video
You can find it here

So if you fancy grabbing a brew and joining me...
Maybe we could craft along together...
Oh and heads up.
You can buy the large tags from James at Stampers Grove,
He also has some of these stamps on offer too....😊

Split Scene Stamping

Good morning all,
I hope your week is going well.
I have been having a play with
Split Scene Stamping
It is such a fun and versatile technique to try,,,
(and probably as old as the hills.)
As most of these techniques are.

It has so many possibilities .

I hope you can grab a brew and a cheeky biscuit and join me.

Here

I would love to know how you get on.

On Saturday we had our Lavinia workshop and we had a play
with ink sprays and their uses.

This is the card that I created, I do love the richness of colour that you get with the sprays .

The crafters made the most amazing pieces of art,
and I am so proud of them.

Thanks for popping in.
Take care all.

Much love and hugs

Fridays Tag

Hi all,
Well we made it to Friday.

Today I have a tag to share with you.
It is something a bit different.
It started out as a large jet black tag.

It is quite different working on a black piece of card.
The tag is quite large 27cm x 13cm
I bought a pack of them from James at Stampers Grove.

I have made a little video if you would like to see how I created it, or maybe grab a brew and join in and craft with me.
Here is the link

I am off now to get my craft room ready for tomorrow online workshop

Have a lovely weekend
Enjoy
Much love and hugs

Thursdays Creation

Good afternoon all,
I hope you are keeping warm and dry today.

I am just back from walking Eric.
Wow, it is definitely breezy out there.

Today I have another Aall & Create sample to share with you .
This is another one using the fabulous washi tape .

I began by creating my washi tape borders.

Next came the matting and layering plus those fabulous little numbers .

I decided to use a stamp that I don’t see many crafters using.
Sometimes we do overlook stamps.
This one is so gorgeous, I really hope more people use it .
It is on set #450-Basic Fruits by Bipasha Bk.

It is such a fabulous stamp to add colour too.
I also added some purple splats just to give extra detail.

I used my Clean Color pen to add some shade.
Here is a closer look.

I think this stamp could be used on a Christmas card
What do you think ?

Thanks for popping in
Take care all

Another YouTube catch up

Good morning all,
How are you feeling today ?
Ok , I hope.

Have you seen that Lavinia stamps have got their own
Watercolour card?
I thought I would buy some and have a play.

So I have made a little video.

It is fabulous card and dries really flat.
It is smooth to stamp on and takes water really well.

So if you fancy grabbing a brew and joining me,
The link is here

I am off now , I am going to walk to the Post Office.
I need to go this morning as it looks like we may have rain again this afternoon.

Take care all

Power Words

Good morning all,
I hope you had a lovely weekend.
Once again it was a mixed bag of weather.
Friday afternoon we had our coffee in the sun, Saturday we got soaked walking Eric and the Sunday
we had some sun again.
Mind you it is certainly doing the gardens good.

Today I have a recent sample to share with you.
I have used the fabulous new Washi tape
#24 Power Words by Bipasha BK

I started by covering a piece of card with the washi tape.
This is just the most fabulous washi tape that I have ever seen.
Right up my street

I love the way the words have a silver thread running through them.

I stamped the fungi using black Versafine Clair ink.

I just lightly added some shade using pencils.
I didn’t want to distract from the washi tape background.

Some matting and layering and adding that special number embellishment,

I fussy cut the fungi, and added some extra silver thread underneath them. I thought it
really complemented the background.
I used another piece of washi tape for my sentiment.
I felt the design was a little bit flat and something was missing.
So I added some splats of yellow posca pen .

Now that’s better..
I’m so pleased that it worked...
I must admit I did hold my breath when I added the splats.

Bet you have had moments like that too.

It is raining here again today
Good job Karl cut the grass yesterday

I hope you have a lovely day

Take care all
Much love and hugs

Washi tape tag

Good morning everyone,
Yeah it is Friday.
I hope you have something nice planed for this weekend.

Today I have a little tag to share with you.

It is one of my Aall & Create samples using the new washi tapes.
I have had such a wonderful time using them.

I couldn’t resist using this fabulous Tracy butterfly again.

I have made a little YouTube video...
So if you fancy another catch up,
Joining me with a brew and a cheeky biscuit,
You can find it here

I have a Day off tomorrow
So I am going to spend the day with Karl and Eric.
Just walking , talking and drinking coffee.

Time to just relax and watch the world go bye

Take care all
Big hugs

New YouTube video

Good morning all,
I do hope your Thursday is going well.
Another busy start here, Karl has gone to Newmarket today.
He is so busy at the minute.
I have told him we are definitely having this weekend off .

I have just made another little catch up video

A few of you have asked for a design using the gel press, so I added a stencil in there too.

It also fits in with our Lavinia Challenge
Under The Sea.

I wanted to create a piece of art that looked like it was at the bottom of the sea, hence  it is quite a dark piece.

So if you have a few minutes spare, and you fancy grabbing a brew
and a cheeky biscuit
Just click on the link , and off we go.

I hope you have a play and I always look forwards to seeing your artwork

Take care all

He has some fabulous new washi tapes

I have had a wonderful couple of days just playing with them and being creative

I hope you like my sneak peeks.
I will pop back soon with the photos of the samples.

On trend colour

Good afternoon everyone,
I hope your week has started well.
It is a mixed bag of weather here today.
Sunny one minute and then dark skies and showers the next.

Today I have made a little catch up video for you.
I have embraced the new on trend colour.
Greige
It is when Grey meets Beige
Look

You can now buy paint and wall papers  in Greige.
So I thought I would create a Lavinia scene in Greige
I have left a space for my sentiment, as I haven’t decided yet which one to use.

I hope you like it.
If you fancy grabbing a brew and joining me.
You can find the video here

As always I would love to see your creations in Greige

I hope you have fun

Take care all
Much love and hugs

Sunday catch up

Good evening all,
I do hope that you have had a lovely weekend.
We have had a relaxing Sunday after another busy Saturday.
It was our online workshop yesterday, and
we had a creative time using  air dry clay

We stamped into it

We used it with stencils,

Moulds, cookie cutters,

even created a few flowers

It was a wonderful morning .
Time spent with friends crafting, catching up and just enjoying being creative.
I am so proud of what our lovely crafters have made.

We had so many more ideas of what to make too.

Take care all
Much love and hugs

Underwater Reflection

Good afternoon all,
Hope you are well.
We have just had thunder here with hailstones.
Not what I was expecting today.
Especially as I have just got back after having my hair cut....yeah...
Nice and short again, thank goodness.

Today I have a fun design to share with you.

A few of my friends had commented that they would like some fish swimming facing right, as all the  Lavinia fish swim towards the left.
So that got me thinking

I came up with this underwater reflection,
using stamps and stencils...

Even the fish look surprised to see their reflections.

If you would like to put the kettle on and join me.
You can find the video here

Eric likes to be with me in my craft room,
He was sleeping the whole time that I was recording

Bless him

He really is such a fabulous crafting companion.

Take care all,
Pop back soon

Love and hugs
