Orbs Dancing

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in .

I am writing this post on Friday evening , I know it isn’t the first of October until tomorrow. 

But you see I have a day workshop in Cumbria tomorrow,

So I will be busy all day. 

So just this once, please forgive me. 

Our new theme for October is 

Orbs Dancing 

Here is my inspiration 

I stared off by just blending  some ink onto my card 

Next I added some stamping 

Then some clear embossing powder, I do love the effect that this gives. 

Unfortunately it doesn't show up very well 

I am calling this piece Sunset Orbs, 

I do love a beautiful sunset. 

Remember the winner is chosen at random and will win £40 to spend on Lavinia stamps, 

I do hope it could be one of our lovely friends on here. 

So how about creating a design and entering the Challenge.

Monday Mindfulness, Be Kind with Olivia.

It has been another busy start to the week here, but busy is good.

Spotlight On Christmas

Morning everyone, 

I do hope this Friday finds you well. 

I am very excited as tomorrow it is my first 

Sharing The Love Of Lavinia 

Workshop at Lavinia HQ in Ruthin. 

At the minute we have 2 dates and both are sold out. 

We are busy sorting out dates for next year…so watch this space.

Today I am popping in with a festive design to share with you. 

A while ago I made a spotlight On The Meadow design 

It was a YouTube tutorial 

I had so many requests for a Christmas version..

So I had a little play, and this is what I have come up with .

Here is a closer look 

I love these flat cards that look 3D 

I started off with masking and stamping. 

Then added my spotlight ink, using the larger round outer mask,

Next I added colour inside the circle using watercolour pencils 

And posca pens 

Finally I masked the outer area and added some posca (snow ) splats. 

This is such a fun design, and I think I may just be making some more .

Fabulous Metallic Gilding Polish

Hi everyone,

I have been on Grandma  duties today, so I have got 8,450 steps in the bag already. 

Have you seen our new Metallic Gilding Polishes? 

They are available on the website now. 

Look at those fabulous colours 

I have made a quick sample to show you..

Look you can paint with them.

You can put them direct onto card and make a matching background panel.

There are so many things you can do with them…they are great for splats too

You know how I love my splats.

Introducing Roland.

Hi everyone, 

I do hope your day is going well. 

I have been playing with Roland today.

Let me introduce him.

He is a new Gel press, new and exclusive to Lavinia stamps. 

He has been made by Gel press.

So far he seems very well behaved too. 😊

I started with Elements ink and some diluted brusho powder on him, and I took a print. 

Next I added some stamping.

Followed by some colour and 3D elements.

Finally some glitter and charcoal shading.  

The sentiment stickers are perfect to just add those finishing touches.

Wonderful Crafty Friends.

Hi again, 

I am just popping in again with some photographs from 

Harrogate this weekend. 

It was a fabulous 2 days show and I am so privileged to be able to spend time with so many wonderful creative people. 

It was lovely to spend time with James, Kate and Lisa on the Stampers Grove stand. 

Our Make & Takes were very popular, and there was such a wonderful buzz around the stand.

Thanks so much to everyone who came to say hello, especially the lovely lady who traveled from India. 

I must admit, that I am a little tired today.

Such a sad day.

Hi my lovely friends and followers. 

I just thought that I would pop in and share some photographs of our late queen with you. 

It was such a sad day when we all learnt that she had passed away. 

Our Queen had served us all so well, with such love and dedication. 

My thoughts are with her family and friends at this time.

Thank you to all of you who have messaged me , emailed me and left comments on my YouTube channel. 

Our Worldwide Craft Family is so amazing .

Friday catch up.

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in today. 

It was a very sad day yesterday when we are learnt of the passing of our wonderful Queen. 

What a lady 

I think we all have different memories of her and her long and amazing life. 

Bless her and may she now rest in peace. 

My thoughts are with her family and friends. 

Group hug. 

Today I am busy packing my bags ready for the next two days in Harrogate. 

I will be with James on the Stampers Grove stand. 

Tomorrow I will be teaching Make and Takes all day 

and a Sunday I will be at the demo table. 

The fabulous Kate Crane will be demonstrating on Saturday and then teaching Make and Takes on Sunday. 

So please do pop along and say hi…

I always love to meet old friends and make new ones.
