It is always lovely to have you join me for a catch up,

I do hope your week is going well.

Today I have a lovely little card design to share with you.

Here we have Pipin hitching a ride on Samuels back, just so that he can reach a chocolate heart.
Here is a closer look

I have made a little video, so if you fancy joining me,
You can find it here

It has been another wet day here in Cheshire,
So lots going on in my craft room.

I hope you have a lovely relaxing evening

Magical Fairy Meadow

Good evening everyone,
I do hope today has gone well.
It has been very wet here in Cheshire.
I think it has gone colder too.
So today I am going to share a lovely bright, warm card with you.

I have used PanPastels for the background.
I have made a little YouTube video to show you how I created it.
You can find it here

I hope it will answer some questions, as recently I have had quite a few emails and messages asking about PanPastels.

I have created the same design using different colours too.
Just to show you another option.

I do hope you enjoy our catch up.
I’m off now for a hot shower and to get my pj’s on…
Time to snuggle on the sofa with a mug of hot chocolate.

Thanks so much for popping in
Much love and hugs

Snow Dome For Pipin.

Good afternoon everyone.
I do hope that you are having a lovely weekend.
I was up early today and we took the boys to a local soft play centre, so I am shattered now.
I have another little video to share with you.

So if you have a few minutes to spare I would love you to watch and maybe join in.

You can find the video here

The Sizzix domes are the perfect size for the small swing bed stamp.

Shaker cards are such fun to make.

Plus it is another couple of Christmas cards made for me…yippee
My box really is getting quite full now,
and I have even bought some stamps ready for posting.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Much love and hugs

Poppies by Lamplight

Good morning all,
Thanks for popping in.
Another early start today…I have a long list to get through.
So I thought I would have our catch up early,
as I don’t want to neglect you.

I have another catch up video to share with you.
This one uses the small swing bed stamp from Lavinia.
It reminds me of a garden lamp.
I do find the stamps so inspiring, my mind just keeps coming up with ideas.
Here is a closer look.

You can find the video here

You tube is being really awkward at the minute and keeps turning my comments off.
I’m not sure why, but I have made all the changes suggested and it is driving me mad.
So please be patient with me.
You know I am a dinosaur with technology.

Here is a design using just one of the Fairy Lamps
I do hope you like it.

I have another design using this stamp, a festive design.
Pop back soon to see that one.

Take care all
Much love and hugs

Faith

Good morning everyone,
I do hope today finds you well.
Thanks so much for popping in and having a brew with me.
I hope you had a lovely weekend. Our workshop was really lovely and
Wow, the ladies created absolute masterpieces.
I am so proud of them.

Yesterday I was busy working on some Halloween samples.
I had such a fabulous day…the time just whizzed.
More about those next month.

Today I am going to share one of my recent Lavinia samples with you.

I stared with some ink on my gel press, followed by some brusho powder and water

The Elements ink pads are great on the gel press as they have a height pigment to water content.
This means there is less beading.

When the background was dry , I added some stamping .

Followed by some more ink, blending this time.

It is amazing the difference that the moon mask makes.
Look

Next I added some colour to my Chinese lanterns.
I used my watercolour paints.

Finally some highlights, shade and posca splats.

Here is a closer look

Such a magical design, I hope you like it.

I’m off for a coffee now.
Karl left early so it is Eric and me for the day.
The sun is just breaking through the clouds,
So I may just take my brew into the garden.
It is still looking lovely and my Passion flower is still flowers.
I’m so pleased that it came back after I thought I had killed it in Spring…

Elliot helped me choose this plant, he calls it my
Tiger Flower

Enjoy the rest of your day

Much love and hugs

Friday again

Good morning everyone,
I do hope today finds you well.
We have another lovely morning here in Holmes Chapel.

I am on Grandma duties again today,
So I am just popping in for a catch up before coffee.

I have another Lavinia sample to share with you.
I do hope you have managed to watch Mandy this morning, remember she is on again at 2pm.
Also the shows are available on catch up.

I started this sample with lots of stamping, carefully placing my stamps.

Next I added some ink.

I painted in some detail, and added some ink splats .

To add more sparkle I used my Signo pens, and then
my chalk pastel pencil for the highlights.

Here is a closer look.

I really enjoyed creating this one.

Tomorrow we have our Lavinia online class and we are using
1 stamp, 3 ways

I am really looking forwards to it.

I hope you have a lovely weekend,
whatever you have planned.

Take care
Much love and hugs

Tiptoe through the flowers.

Good afternoon everyone,
I hope today is going well.
Another busy day here.

So I am just grabbing 5mins to pop in with another Lavinia sample to share with you.

As you know I try to look at stamps in different ways,
And when I saw this combination my mind just wandered .

Careful stamping and then adding some ink.
I used my Elements ink pads.

Here is a closer look

I wonder , how many of us are singing
Tiptoe through the tulips !!!!

Our Mandy will be on The Craft Store tomorrow at 10am and 2pm.

Must dash…got to get Elliot from school

Take care all

Much love and hugs

Art From The Heart

Good morning everyone,
I hope today finds you well.
Welcome to another new follower, I am so chuffed to have you join us.

I am popping in with another Lavinia sample for you ,
I do hope that you like it.

I really enjoyed creating this one, and it is just a bit different from all the others.
You know I am constantly trying to come up with variations on designs.

I started by using one of the circle masks, the outer one this time.
I added some gentle inking
This is what I created.

Next I added some stamping, using copier paper to mask off areas.

This is what I created.
Next I added some light and shade using my chalk pastel pencils,  I really think this brings out
all the beautiful detail of the stamps.

Next some snow and shadows.

I love trying to create a 3D look
When it is just a flat piece of card

Here is a closer look

Such a majestic beast.

Thanks as always for joining me today

Much love and hugs

Silence Calls.

Good morning everyone,
I do hope you had a lovely weekend.
We have rain and it is cloudy  today in Holmes Chapel, so I
am sat in my craft room with a lovely hot coffee.

We had a wonderful workshop on Saturday and it was such fun spending time creating tags.
I do love it when the ladies post photographs of their work in our group.
Wow, such fabulous pieces.
I am so proud of them all.

Now you know how much I just love highland cattle.
Well on Sunday we went to a local farm to buy a tub of their home made ice cream

Pandora lives there, you can imagine…
I was just so excited to meet her, and she even came up so that I could stroke her.

She is so beautiful, and I can’t wait to go back and see her again.
It really did make my day.

I have another busy week , with lots of jobs on my list, including a couple of magazine commissions.
So I really need to get on and start crafting.
I just though that I would have a catch up with you all first.

Our Mandy will be on The Craft Store on Friday
at 10am and 2pm

Here is one of my samples.

I started by stamping out my images, and then adding the scenery,
Our Lavinia stencil brushes are just perfect for this.

Next I added the sun, and gave the design a bit of a warm glow.

I used my Clean Colour pens to add more detail.

I added some splats of ink, and then used my chalk pastel pencil to add the highlights.
You know how I just love to do this, for me it gives such a softer look.
I feel I can really add character to Mr Fox without loosing the integrity of the stamp.

I thought he was just having a few minutes peace and quite…
So all that was left was to add the sentiment

Silence Calls.

I think we all feel like having a few quiet minutes from time to time.

Thanks so much for spending time with me today
I really do appreciate it

Take care all
Much love and hugs

Butterfly for a Friday

Good morning everyone,
I do hope you are well on this Friday morning.
I have another busy day planned so I thought I would pop along and have a catch up with you
Straight after walking Eric.

A few of you have asked for a recent photo of Eric,
So here he is last weekend when we took our little van to Delamere Forest for a couple of days.

He loved having lots of walks, and just sitting outside the van pretending to be a  Guard dog.

I have made another little catch up video for you.
So if you fancy joining me.

The link is here

I had so much fun creating this.
Tomorrow we have our regular online workshop and we are creating a tag on tag on tag design.

I am really looking forwards to spending creating time with everyone.
Maybe a cheeky mince pie, or is it too early ?
What do you think ?

I hope you have a lovely weekend,
whatever you get up too

Take care
Much love and hugs
