Three in One

Good morning everyone,
I do hope your day has started well.
Today I have a 3 in 1 sample to share with you.
Well you know how much I love tags…
I found these fabulous cute tags and couldn’t resist using them

As soon as I saw Tracy’s new A7 stamps , I needed to play.

I wanted an understated background,
So I just added some oxide ink and water to the stamp and did some organic stamping (without an acrylic block )
Next to the tags, I just blended some ink on all 3 of them.

Followed by some stamping in black.
I adore how bold this looks.

I added these to the card along with some washi tape and white Posca splats.

Oh and a few more ink splats.
Here is a closer look.

Such a fun design.
My favourite colours too.

I must go now, lots to do.
My list just seems to get longer each day.

Thanks so much for joining me
Much love and hugs

The Yellow Brick Road.

Good morning everyone,
I hope today finds you well and that you had a lovely weekend.
Karl left early again today, he is just so busy.
So I walked Eric early and have been very productive so far.
Definitely time for coffee in the garden. (Before the rain )

Today I am sharing one of my recent Aall & Create samples with you.
As you know I have a thing about these white board tags.

They take ink so well too.
I wanted to create my own Yellow Brick Road, so this stencil was just perfect.

Next I just added some more ink.
I wanted to keep to a simple colour palate as I wanted the stamps to do all the talking.
They are so well drawn that I didn’t want to distract from their beauty.

I stamped them and just simply use ink and water to paint in the colour.

I had a coffee whilst fussy cutting the figures.
Always a great excuse for a brew and a cheeky biscuit.

I worked out where I was going to place the figures and then I added some stamping in the appropriate places.
I added some white posca splats, some string and then the fabulous figures.

A couple of washi tape words just compliment the whole design.

Here is a closer look

I do think these new Janet Klein characters are going to be such a hit.

I hope you like them too.

Take care all.
Much love and hugs

Fun Friday.

Good morning everyone.
I hope you are feeling well and that you have a lovely day planned.
I have been up early as I am back on Grandma duties , I have dropped the boys off at nursery.
Both Adam and Danielle are working today, it is Adams first day back after
many months of Furlough.
I must remember to go and collect the boys later too…
I have just cooked a Lasagna for them as I thought they might not feel like cooking when they get home.
Mind you it has made my kitchen even warmer !!!!
All the windows and doors are open.

Today I have a tag to share with you

As you know I do love these white board tags.

I started by adding my background,
I used the usual Direct To Paper Technique, and Weathered wood Distress Oxide ink.

Next I adding some stamping in black Versafine ink.
These tags are so beautiful to stamp on.

I needed some scenery, so I used the landscape masks and some Graphite ink.
This makes such a difference.

A little bit more stamping
I used the stars around the edge of my tag, I do love to use stamps in unusual ways

I wanted to add a hint of colour,
Not too much though, just a hint.
I also added the shadows too.

And some yellow Posca to finish off the design.
Don’t feel you always have to use white Posca…
Coloured Posca splats are just fabulous.
Here is a closer look

Right, I had better get on.
Lots to do today and we have our online workshop tomorrow.
We are Dabbling into Journalling tomorrow.
I am really looking forwards to spending time with our craft gang.

Have a lovely weekend all.
Much love and hugs

PanPastels on the gel press plate

Good afternoon all,
I hope today is treating you well.
Very warm here in Holmes Chapel.

Today I have another little catch up video
to share with you.

I have used PanPastels on my gel press plate.
This is a great technique and they don’t need sealing after you pull the print…
A win, win,

You can find the video here

I hope you enjoy it .

Good Morning Mr Fox

Good morning everyone,
I hope you slept well.
Another beautiful start to the week here in Cheshire.
I hope you have something lovely to do today.
I have more samples to make,
So I will be creating like mad in my craft room…
K is away overnight so I will make the most of my time and gets lots done.
Although I intend to have a few coffee breaks in the garden.

Today I have a recent Lavinia sample to share with you.

Here is how I created it.
I used a cut off piece of Lavinia watercolour card.

I stared with stamping using Black Versafine Clair ink.
I added brusho powder and water to create the leaves in the tree.
This is such a great effect.

Next I added the scenery, with the landscape masks , a stencil brush and some Elements ink pads.

I used brusho powder and water to watercolour paint some more colour and detail.

Next I added some flowers using my Posca pens .

I added highlights and some shadows.
I used my white chalk pastel pencil to add the highlights, I really love this effect on Mr Fox.

Finally I mounted the card and added some bakers twine.

I wonder what Mr Fox has seen in the tree?

Here is a closer look

I hope you have a lovely day .

Much love and hugs

New Forest Hares

Good morning everyone ,
and welcome to our new follower.
Please make your self at home.
I still get so excited when I see we have a new friend joining us here.

I do hope you are keeping well and that you have a lovely weekend planned.

I hope you like the new Lavinia stamps, The Forest Hares.
Here is one of my samples using them.

As you know I love to create using the wonderful watercolour card from Lavinia stamps.

I started by stamping my images and then adding the ink and water.

The watercolour card takes the water so well.
I used some kitchen roll to create the clouds.

And then added some extra details and extra colour using my Inktense pencils.

Adding the shadows really makes such a difference.
Here is a closer look.

I used my white pastel pencil as always to add the highlights.
These new Hare stamps are available on the Lavinia website.

Take care everyone
Thanks for popping in
Much love and hugs

Free your Inner Creativity

Good morning all,
Another cloudy but beautiful morning in Cheshire.
I do hope your morning has started well.
I had a migraine yesterday and oh bless it, it is still with me today.
So it isn’t easy to see to type.
Fingers crossed I don’t make too many mistakes.
Today I have a design for you, which follows on from yesterday’s YouTube video.
It is a combination of a couple of gel press techniques with a masking technique.

Do you remember a while ago when I make a card using flower reflections and masking tape for the sentiment ?

If you missed it the video is here

Well as you know I like to mix techniques up a bit.

I started by masking off my card.

Then added ink onto my gel press plate

Followed by the stencil and more ink.

Look at the pattern on the printing plate

I then pressed the gel press onto my card

This is what I got, even a bonus piece of patterned masking tape…
I have made my own washi tape…

I added one of the new sentiments,

A couple of coordinating butterflies and some white posca splats.

Here is a closer look

These designs would be great to make and keep for those days when you need a ready made background.
Let’s face it, we all have them .

I have a special Birthday card to make today
I can’t believe that our Elliot is 4 tomorrow.
So I had better get on, and need to find some dinosaurs

Thanks for popping in
Take care all
Much love and hugs
