Good morning everyone.
April the 1st,
I was really hoping that this Coronavirus was an April fool and that
everything would be back to normal when I woke up today.
But alas, no.
We are still living the nightmare.
Although I have had a great time looking for paints, card, stamps etc for my neighbours children to use.
Today I have delivered wooden spoons, wool, wobbly eyes etc so that they can make puppets,
and have a puppet show.
Such a great time to find all those cart products that we bought and have never used.
As it is the first of the month,
It is a new Challenge over on the Lavinia website.
This month the theme is
Blue and Silver.
Great colour combination.
Here is my inspiration,
More of a turquoise and silver,
But it is all about interpretation
I started by using VersaMark ink and a silver embossing powder .
I do love a resist technique.
I used the mushroom lantern stamps, ( current favourite stamps )
Next I added the moon mask and some script stamping.
Followed by some Brusho and water,
I just let it drip down my card.
Oh , I do love this too.
Look how it dries.
Some silver card for matting and layering and job done.
I have left this without a sentiment, so that I can add one later.
Depending on the occasion that I need it for.
This is going to be one of those designs for that emergency card time.
I do hope you can join in the challenge.
I must admit I am missing friends and family at the moment,
But so glad that we can email, message and face time.
Our little Jenson has found his feet since we last saw him.
Bless him..
I can’t wait to hug the boys again
Take care everyone
Much love and hugs
Jo xxxx
