Petal Power

Good morning everyone. 

I do hope that you are keeping warm and safe this weekend. 

We have definitely been having some dramatic weather here in the UK

I must apologise for being quiet over the past few days, 

On here, answering emails etc. 

The reason is that Abs sent me the new stamps a while ago but they never arrived. 

The parcel seemed to have been damaged and was returned to him with some stamps missing

So on Thursday at 7am a courtier delivered my new parcel and I had to quickly create  some samples and get them in the

post to the studio ready for his ODS shows on Monday. 

I also had grandma duties, and Eric at the vets. 

Wow, I am shattered. 

I must say though, the new stamps are exquisite 

Here is one of my samples 

As time was critical I just went with good old favourite techniques…no time to experiment. 

I began by stamping the main image 

This is such a beautiful stamp by Bipasha. 

I then added some gentle stencil work

Followed by some shadows and highlights. 

I stamped the background, using another beautiful stamp by Bipasha 

Some ink splats to bring the whole design together.
