Good afternoon all,
I do hope you are having a lovely, relaxing Sunday.
Whilst the chicken and roast potatoes are cooking in the oven I thought I would pop in and have
a little catch up with you.
Our fabulous Tracey Dutton has drawn some beautiful new Lavinia stamps and they
are going to be released this Friday (21st Jan )
Here is one of my samples.
These stamps are just exquisite
I stared off by stamping Liberty.
I wanted to keep the colouring very simple so that the stamps could speak for themselves.
Just look at the detail.
I also stamped the background using the new Bell Flower Vine stamp
Next I added a little colour
Some highlights and shadows.
The chalk pastel pencils work so well for this.
I edged both pieces with a black Sharpie, as you know I love to do this.
I also added a few ink splats.
Then it was some finishing touches, including stamping the middle button again and adding it as a 3D element.
Look
I really enjoyed creating this piece,
I hope you like it too.
Enjoy your Sunday afternoon.
See you soon
Much love and hugs
Jo xxxx

So beautiful, so delicate, I can't quite figure out the Liberty image, is it a leaf or a boat with buttins, so pretty just puzzling me 🤍 love the pales, almost looks pearlized xx
