Good morning everyone,
How are you today ?
Wow , it is very cold and icy here today.
Karl is away at the moment , and I have been on grandma duties plus walking Eric this morning.
I can’t believe I have done 9959 steps already,,,
I definitely deserve an extra coffee today,,,
I have another sample to share with you using stamps designed by Tracy Evans.
As you know I love floral designs.
I decided to create a vintage feel to this sample.
I started by stamping the dandelion stamp, and adding some colour .
I just used my inks and some water.
Now this masking technique is such an old one, but I have put my twist on it by tearing the edges of my mask.
Notice the arrow on my script stamp…
Just stops me stamping it upside down.
Next I added some deeper ink around the edges to frame the design
To add to the vintage feel I used my water spray lid to add some rings, and then added some water splats, followed by
White posca pen splats.
I love the plant label stamp, I added some garden string to this.
I also added a little metal ring and some glossy accents, (you know how I love to add these
finishing touches )
In my metal embellishments box I found a little watering can.
So I added that too
Here is a closer look at the finished design.
Thanks so much for popping in.
See you again soon
Love and hugs
Jo xxxx

Love it! I would never have thought to actually add a mask to cover the image - brilliant
