Morning

Good morning all,
Firstly I would like to say welcome to another new follower.
Please pull up a chair and make yourself at home.

I hope you had a lovely weekend.
We had a lovely workshop on Saturday and spent the morning creating a shaker card and a shaped card.
It was so lovely and such a happy creative time.
We had the grandchildren for a sleep over on Saturday but unfortunately Karl was unwell,
So I had 3 little men to look after.

I hope you managed to catch the Lavinia shows on The Craft Store on Friday.
Here is one of my samples.

Here is a little tutorial of how I made it.
So if you fancy grabbing a brew and joining me…
Let’s get creating

I began by creating a background using my Elements ink pads.
I do love to do this, and the ink pads have so much pigment in them.
I used a piece of the watercolour card…honestly it is just fabulous card.

I used a grey to add a sort of moody look.
My attempt at adding atmosphere.

When dry I added the stamping, using black ink.

Then I added more foliage using Monarch ink.
Look how you can build up the foliage and frame the design

I added the moon with a circle mask, then added more detail using my chalk pastel pencils.
I also blended more ink around the edges to frame the scene.

Then finally some sparkle with some of the Eco Glitter.
Here is a closer look.

I do love the way the sky has turned out.

I hope your Monday goes well and that you have a lovely day.
Take care all.

Thanks for popping in

Another fab card. I thought of you last night as the sky was just like your water coloured skies. I was going to look back at YouTube to give it a go myself when this morning I find you’ve created another one. Now off to change my water on the craft table, “just like Jo”. Love & hugs, Sue. x
