A Monday Catch up

Good morning all,
I hope you had a lovely weekend.
Our workshop on Saturday went really well, and then yesterday I had a lovely day off.
Well, I say day off.
Housework and gardening.

Today I have a tutorial to share with you.
It is for one of the samples that I have created for the Lavinia  shows on The Craft Store this Friday.
The lovely Leonie will be demonstrating.
Thank you everyone who have messaged me and asked when I will be back on tv.
I have taken the decision to stop doing the shows.
(I just don’t feel confident enough after having Long Covid , it really has knocked me for six. )

I started by masking the area and stamping my images in black Versafine ink.

Gradually building up my scene.

Next I added some ink to the background and created the moon.

Then some stencil work, I do love to add gentle stencilling in the background.
Also some ink splats, you know how much I adore adding these.

Now I did spritz my stencil and get a bonus background.
( pop back tomorrow to see what I did with it )

Next I removed the low tack tape and started adding more detail using chalk pastel pencils.

Look how the shadows can be created.

The finishing touches were added using a gel pen and a posca pen.

Here is a closer look

Thanks so much for popping in today.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day,
Take care

Much love and hugs

Beautiful design as always, Jo. As long as you don't stop doing your video tutorials because I think I am addicted to them. You have taught me such a lot, thank you
