Always the day for a wreath card.

Good morning all,
A wet start here, but hopefully it will stop raining soon and the sun will
come out to play.
I hope you have some lovely plans for today.
Lots more jobs to get ticked off my craft list.
That also means lots of new and exciting things to play with….

Today I am sharing one of my samples from the last Lavinia show on The Craft Store.

As soon as I saw which stamps were on the list, I knew I had to create one of
these wreath cards…
You know me !!!!

I started by stamping my basic design

Then I added some colour, just simple painting with ink and water.

Next I added the shading around the edges and stamped the sentiment.
I wanted to keep this design very much tone on tone,

I then added some of the Eco glitters,
I used a quickie glue pen to attach the glitter.

Here is a closer look.

Dare I say it, but this design would lend itself to Christmas…

On that note
I am off to get some more samples made.
I hope you have a lovely day
Whatever you do

Take care
Much love and hugs

I hope you have had a lovely weekend.
What are your plans for this week ?
anything exciting ?

Today I have a lovely delicate design to share with you.
It features our Pipin and some gentle  stencil work in the background.
Plus a different colour for me, I though I would use a colour that I don’t normally use.

Here is a closer look.

If you fancy joining me,
The YouTube video can be found here

I hope you enjoy creating this design.

I have a day of sample making…always exciting using new stamps…

Butterfly or moth?

Good morning all,
Happy Friday to you all, thanks so much for popping in.
I am just back from walking Eric, the sky is so grey today.
I think we are in for some rain later.

We are having a new path and patio, the guys are great, although they do drink lots of tea and yes.
They do like cheeky biscuits. 🍪
They are outside my craft room window today, so no YouTube videos I’m afraid.

Today I thought I would share one of my Aall & Create samples with you.

I just adore this new butterfly
As you know I have a thing about butterflies.
Oh and thank you Jane for your beautiful card with a highland cow on it…
It is just fabulous.
I am so excited that Bipasha has said she will make a stamp with one on…

This is one of those quick card designs, that would look good in a frame.
Simple stamping to start off with.

Next I added some colour, orange ( just for a change !!! )

I added some splats onto the background card too as I think it  ties the whole design together.

I added some Washi tape, plus another butterfly.
This time I added some clear embossing powder.
I decoupaged the middle butterfly.
I also added a couple of numbers just to add that extra touch…in opposite corners,,,
You know what I am like

This beautiful butterfly is on stamp set #532 - Safari by Bipasha BK

It will be available with stockists soon…

Have a lovely weekend all

Much love and hugs

Time for a Giggle

Good afternoon all,
I do hope you are having a good day.

I have a lovely little story and a photo to share with you.
I hope it makes you giggle.
The other day I got a message from one
of our lovely YouTube friends, Claudia.
She has just be organising her inks…
and look how she has labelled them .

The Shady Lady really made me smile.
I hope it made you smile too…
We all need to smile more.

I also wanted to share another Lavinia creation with you.

I love this combination of stamps.
I started by stamping out the main design, using black ink.

I added some colour using my Inktense pencils.
Next I added some gentle stencil work.
Plus a few splats of ink.

To finish off the design , I added some glossy accents, plus a few more ink splats.

Here is a closer look.

I do hope that you like it.
Thanks for popping in today
and for your continued support on here and with
my crafty journey

Much love and hugs

A Fishy Monday

Good afternoon all,
I do hope you had a lovely weekend.
We had a relaxing time in Slapton, at a lovely campsite near the sea.

Eric went swimming every day.
His own large hydrotherapy pool.

We went on lots of walks.

Such a beautiful place.

But lots of narrow roads.

The sea is so beautiful, so I thought today  I would share a fishy card with you.

I started by stamping my main images.
Then I sprinkled some  brusho powders.

Next I added some water, and just let it all drip.
I love this effect, and it is great for underwater designs.

When dry , I added some more colour.

Followed by some glitter.

I added some blue bubbles using the white orbs stencil.

Here is a closer look.

Thanks so much for popping in.
I hope you have a lovely afternoon.
It is raining here, but the gardens need it, so that is ok.

Take care all
Love and hugs

Safari

Good afternoon,
Me again.
I just wanted to pop in and share one of my Aall & Create samples with you.
You see it uses one of the stamps from the new release by Bipasha BK

I have really loved using these new stamps.

I started by stamping the owl out in black ink.

Then added some stencil work.
He really is crying out for stencil #63 Wood pile by Abs.
Just gentle stencil work though, I didn’t want to distract from the beautiful stamp.

Next I added some washi tape, I adore this one , by Bipasha.
Followed by some splats of green ink.

I added some colour, and stamped out part of the image once again so that I could decoupage it.

A bit of fussy cutting and some shadows.

I just love how quickly this has come together.

The finishing details, the white posca pen and a piece of Dymo magic.
Here is a closer look.

The detail in this image is just amazing.

Thanks so much for joining me today.

Take care
Much love and hugs

Morning

Good morning all,
Firstly I would like to say welcome to another new follower.
Please pull up a chair and make yourself at home.

I hope you had a lovely weekend.
We had a lovely workshop on Saturday and spent the morning creating a shaker card and a shaped card.
It was so lovely and such a happy creative time.
We had the grandchildren for a sleep over on Saturday but unfortunately Karl was unwell,
So I had 3 little men to look after.

I hope you managed to catch the Lavinia shows on The Craft Store on Friday.
Here is one of my samples.

Here is a little tutorial of how I made it.
So if you fancy grabbing a brew and joining me…
Let’s get creating

I began by creating a background using my Elements ink pads.
I do love to do this, and the ink pads have so much pigment in them.
I used a piece of the watercolour card…honestly it is just fabulous card.

I used a grey to add a sort of moody look.
My attempt at adding atmosphere.

When dry I added the stamping, using black ink.

Then I added more foliage using Monarch ink.
Look how you can build up the foliage and frame the design

I added the moon with a circle mask, then added more detail using my chalk pastel pencils.
I also blended more ink around the edges to frame the scene.

Then finally some sparkle with some of the Eco Glitter.
Here is a closer look.

I do love the way the sky has turned out.

I hope your Monday goes well and that you have a lovely day.
Take care all.

Thanks for popping in
