Onwards and upwards

Good afternoon,
I hope you are keeping well and that you had a lovely weekend.
I had a major disaster on Saturday, it was workshop day , I hadn’t had much sleep and I felt really rough.
I was determined to carry on with the class,
Unbeknown to me Apple had done an update and all my settings had reverted to public.
So when the workshop went live it was like a Fb live and not just in our little workshop group.
This made it difficult for the ladies to find it but also ,
I am too scared to do a Fb live, especially when I felt so unwell.
I tried restarting  the class, but the same thing happened.
Honestly it was a nightmare,
I carried on with the PanPastel piece

But when it came to the alcohol inks ,
I just had to call it a day and finish early

I was so upset and embarrassed.
Karl came in to find me in tears.
I was ready to just give up with everything , I felt such a failure...
I just wanted to curl up and hide
I am so lucky that Karl sorted out the Fb settings and a couple of special  friends messaged and made
me feel so much better.
It is a times like that when you really find out who your friends are .
and I am so grateful to mine..
Thank you so much ladies .

Yesterday I rested and thank goodness I feel a little better today.
So fingers crossed in a few days ,
I will be back to normal.
If there is a normal

Take care all
Love and hugs
Jo xxxx

Jo forgive me but your such a professional I didn’t even notice you finished up early. I thought the workshop was great and really enjoyed it. Please don’t be upset and you have nothing to apologise for - I for one can’t wait until next time, and don’t for heavens sake think of throwing In the towel, we would all be lost without you. The workshops mean so much to us all, they are more than just workshops they are a lifeline, they bring a community of crafters together which is great for our mental health and wellbeing. Hopefully you will feel More like yourself in a day or two, Jo the Warrior our Warrior Xxxxx💐🥰

I was just checking up on how your health problems are going and found this post. Oh poor you Jo. It’s bad enough when things go wrong and you’re well. Ten times worse when you are unwell AND NONE of it your fault.
Sounds like all your ladies were fine with things and enjoyed it anyway. That’s what we Crafters do. Just make the best of things and carry on. Hope by now you are feeling much better. So scary getting sick like that in these Crazy Covid times. Take care Jo and keep on keeping us all inspired to create beautiful things. Biggest hugs ever coming all the way from NZ 🤗🤗🤗🥰
