Technique Tuesday, Gel Press play

Hi everyone, 

Hope you are having a decent day, 

I am just back from walking Eric. 

So I thought whilst I have my coffee, I could have a catch up with you lovely people. 

I have been busy recording videos today, 

and I have more to do tomorrow. 

Some of the content is hush, hush, 

Very exciting and absolutely fabulous. 

But I have said too much already shhhhhhh

Todays Technique Tuesday is a beginners guide to the Gel press 

I have had so many crafters get in touch and say that they have bought a gel press but it is still in its packet. 

So today is the day 

Get it out 

and have fun.

Karl has been up to Edinburgh to work today,  so it was an early start and it will be a late finish for him

I will go and create some magic in the kitchen and have his meal ready for when he gets home…

What a fab weekend

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in today. 

I do hope you had a lovely weekend. 

I had a wonderful but busy couple of days. 

On Saturday it was the Stamping Together Festival at Port Sunlight.

What a fabulous day it was. 

James was keeping us all in order, and Lisa was on form and such a great help.

Sarah was my partner in crime. 

It was so good to see so many old friends, plus to meet so many new ones. 

Thanks so much for the extra coffees, chocolates, honey , sweets and cheeky biscuits that you so kindly brought for us. 

It was such an amazing day. 

I really am so privileged that I am able to do what I do. 

Then Sunday it was our online workshop.

Such a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning…

Although I must admit by Sunday afternoon I was a little tired. 

I certainly slept well last night.

Friday catch up

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in again. 

It is always so lovely to see you. 

Wow it is Friday again, this week has flown .

I travelled to Kendal on Wednesday to spend the day with my Mum and Brother. 

They both have Birthdays on 5th October but this year it was so hard for them after my dad passed 

 away in May. 

It would have been my Mum and Dads Wedding Anniversary too.

So I really wanted to look after them both

We had cake, coffee, laughed and cried , but we were together, and that was so important. 

I took my Mum shopping , it was pouring it down, but we still had a lovely time. 

I am so proud of the way that she is coping..

Speaking off shopping, 

Look what I found in the Lavinia shop when I visited on Monday.

I just love this lamp , and I just knew that it had to come home with me. 

Today I am on grandma duties plus packing my craft bags. 

It is the Port Sunlight show tomorrow and I am so thrilled to be demonstrating Lavinia stamps on the Stampers Grove stand. 

My partner in crime aka Dirty Sarah will be there too…(we have so much fun when we are together) 

James will be at he helm and our fabulous Lisa will there too…

So if you are going please do pop along and say Hello. 

Then on Sunday it is our October online class 

We are going to create some Halloween Magic on some  MDF

The back is painted with the new Metallic Gilding Polish…fabulous stuff. 

Then Sunday afternoon I am hoping to have coffee and cake and catch up with Karl, before another busy week.

Mindful Monday , From the Heart.

Such an amazing day.

Good morning everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in today. 

I hope you had a lovely weekend. 

On Saturday it was our Cumbria workshop. 

This was our second actual in person class since Covid, and it was so good to see everyone.

I love the online classes and will continue with them but it is nice to be able to organise a few actual in person classes again. 

We created Christmas designs, and got a bit festive. 

I was totally spoilt, 

Flowers, 

Gluten free cakes 

And look at this tin of fudge…( can’t wait to empty it and add some crafty embellishments inside )
