Feather Christmas Tree card

Good morning all,
Yay
It is Friday.
I do hope you have a lovely weekend to look forward too.
I am just popping in to let you know that I have another
little catch up video to share with you.
This one was made after one of our lovely Lavinia friends got in touch and asked about a card
design that I had made.
Thanks so much Vi Wilkinson for messaging me.

Here is your video to hopefully answer some of your questions.

A starting point and I am really looking forward to seeing where you take the ideas.

Thanks for popping in

Take care
Much love and hugs

Full of Hope

Good morning all,
How are you today ?
I don’t know about you but it is definitely cooler here today.
We are nudging into Autumn.
Fancy that , my favourite colours.
I couldn’t resist using them on one of my recent Aall & Create samples.

I started with a white board tag from That’s Crafty. As you know I am a big fan of these.

I started by adding the ink, direct to the tag.

Next I stamped in black ink and added clear embossing powder.
This is a wonderful new stamp from Tracy Evan’s, and it works so well here.

Next I added some doodles with a white gel pen, plus this wonderful Janet Klein heart,

I just loved playing around and deciding where I was going to place  my embellishments.
Some posca splats and some coordinating wool and my design was complete.

Here is a closer look

I just adore the details,

I am off now to the post office.
I hope you have a lovely day, whatever you are doing.

Much love and hugs

Falling Leaves.

Good morning everyone,
Wow, September already.

As it is a new month ,
We have a new Lavinia Challenge.

Our new theme is
Falling Leaves.

Here is my inspiration for you

I do hope you like it.

I started by cutting my card to size and doing my stamping.

My favourite ‘Shady Lady ‘ ink pad.

Next I added some colour using Elements ink and water.

Followed by the stencil work,
As always I stencilled across all the layers at the same time.

I added some extra detail using my chalk pastel pencils.

Followed by some ink and water splats.

A sentiment , some sparkle with my signo pens , some shadows and my art work is finished.
Here is a closer look.

This is such a fun challenge I do hope you join in.
Remember you could win £40 to spend at Lavinia , and the winner is chosen at random,
You can find all the details on the website.

I hope you have a lovely day.

Thanks for joining me today.
Much love and hugs

A lovely gift

Good afternoon everyone,
I do hope you have had a lovely weekend.
We had a couple of visits to the park with Elliot and Jenson  and luckily we had some sunny weather too.
I must say though, it is so cold today.
Definitely feeling a bit more like Autumn.

I had a lovely surprise in the post
Look what I received.

Thank you so much Sheena, you made my day.
So thoughtful of you.

Today I am busy creating more samples for the tv.
So I thought I would share a recent Aall & Create sample with you.

A nice clean and simple design.

I started with my layers of card, and as you know I like to add my sharpie line at this point.
I then stamped  my main image in black ink.

Next I added some stencil work,
Across all 3 layers.
I added colour to my image and some glossy accents to the heart.
It really makes it pop.

Some shadows and a little thread ribbon,
Nothing too heavy as I didn’t want to distract from the beautiful stamped image.
Some posca splats and the design was complete.
Here is a closer look

Thanks so much for popping in.
Take care everyone
Much love and hugs

That Friday Feeling

Good afternoon everyone.
I hope you are having a lovely day and that
you have a wonderful bank holiday weekend planned.
I think I will be sleeping all day tomorrow, I am shattered.
Jenson was sent home from nursery yesterday with conjunctivitis so we have been looking after him.
Wow, he has so much energy…

So I am just popping in with a quick catch up.

This is one of my samples from the ODS currently appearing on The Craft Store.

I had great fun creating this sample.
Oh yes, my favourite colour ‘of the moment ‘

I stamped the main design plus some extra bits for embellishments.

I love this distress glaze , it gives such a great finish,

For anyone who hasn’t got the Prize Ribbon ink yet,
I must say that I do think you need it.
Some white splats and twine just finish off the design.

Thanks so much for popping in today,

Have a wonderful weekend
Much love and hugs

Coffee and Catch up

Good morning all,
I hope your day has started well.

I have another little catch up video to share with you
So if you fancy grabbing a brew and joining me .
Today we are going to create something a bit different,
A wall hanging tag.
A place to hang some keys .

This is the plaque without the keys on

As you can see I am loving all the blue tones at the minute.
You can find the video here

I really hope you enjoy it.

Much love and hugs
