Diary Dates

Hi everyone, 

I hope you are having a lovely, relaxing Saturday. 

I got up early and walked Eric…in the rain…

Then after breakfast I took Karl to watch Elliot and Jenson at their football training,,,

again in the rain…

And oh my, 

It did rain…

So we are now back home and I have a lovely warm coffee. 

After all, 

Life is good when you 

grab a cheeky brew and biscuit.

Wow, it’s looking a busy year already.

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in today.

I have been recording YouTube videos all day…

So that has kept me out of mischief.

I have also been booking in workshops, 

demonstration days etc.

Wow this year is filling up fast, I literally have 2 free Saturdays between now and November…

The year kicks off , with a 

Birthday Event next weekend. 

2 days of demonstrating Lavinia stamps 

with some 

Make and Takes too.

It certainly looks like being another busy and exciting year.

A Touch Of Sparkle

Good morning everyone, 

Happy New Year.

We start the new year with a new Challenge over on the Lavinia Website

Our new theme is 

A Touch Of Sparkle

Here is some inspiration.

I wanted to use my Stamping Foam again.

This time I teamed it up with the White Orbs stencil

and some blue Elements ink pads 

I used the large circle mask to give me the outer shape 

Next I added some stamping , carefully masking off the rest of the card 

I added some 3D shading using pastel pencils, 

Then some bubbles using the white orbs stencil and black fine liner pen.

I wanted to have my sentiment on a curve so that it complemented the while design.

So I curved it on the acrylic block.

Now on to some sparkle, 

First I used mica powder and water and painted some on the design. 

Next I used a quickie glue pen and some holographic glitter.

Wow, look at that sparkle.
