Such wonderful ladies

Hi everyone, 

thanks so much for joining me. 

I do hope that you have had a lovely weekend. 

I am sat in our garden , in the shade having a catch up with you. 

My Mum has come down to stay with us for a few days, so that is lovely. 

I am really looking forwards to spending some quality time with her. 

Creating special memories. 

Yesterday I had a lovely day teaching a day workshop.

I had been invited by a fabulous group of crafters. 

They made me feel so welcome, 

I did laugh at the chairs that were behind my table , just my size!!!

It is so good to be able to meet up in person again. 

I enjoyed every minute. 

Look they gave me this beautiful card and they had all signed it.

that really touched my heart.

The Snow Shrub Bird.

Afternoon everyone, 

thanks so much for popping in. 

Thanks also to our new follower, it is so good to have you join us here. 

Wow, it is hot in Cheshire today. 

I made sure that I walked Eric before 7am this morning before it got too warm, and I will 

be leaving it late to take him out again. 

Luckily we have some cool places in the garden where he can sit, although he does like to lie in the sun.

He lies on his back and stretches his legs out.

He is so funny, but don’t worry I do keep my eye on him, and make him go inside after a while. 

As it is Tuesday , 

It is time for our crafty crafty catch up .

Monday Mindfulness with The Night Owl

Hi everyone, I do hope you are keeping well 

and that you had a lovely weekend. 

It has been a beautiful day here in Cheshire .

Eric had a appointment at the vets this morning and we had a lovely walk there and back. 

I have spent the rest of the day catching up with deadlines…it is another busy week. 

I am planning lots of classes and they all take a lot of organising.

Mindful Mondays Begin.

Hi everyone, and thanks for popping in again today. 

I have a new project to share with you. 

For the next few months we will be sharing 

Mindful Mondays together. 

You see the last few months have really made me think about, life, love and so many different things. 

After the loss of my beloved Dad, life will just never be the same. 

I am so lucky to have such wonderful friends, family and husband. 

Recently so many of my friends have suffered losses too, and so many of you are fighting your own health battles. 

So it got me thinking. 

Let us spend some quality time together, 

Now you can join in, just watch, or grab a brew and join me.

Fairy Party

Good morning everyone, 

and welcome to August 2022.

A new month means a new Lavinia Challenge. 

Our new theme is 

Fairy Party.

Here is my inspiration.

I had such fun creating this design 

I started with some stamping and an idea of using the dandelion stamp to make a disco ball.

I added some ink 

And some magical orbs or bubbles 

Maybe the fairies are having a bubble party 

I wanted to create a dramatic frame, so I used the Graphite Element ink pad followed by some gilding flakes. 

Red liner tape is a great way to add a gilded frame to any design 

I hope you join in with our challenge and remember the winner is chosen at random and will get £40 to spend on Lavinia stamps
