An Olipsical Saturday

Good afternoon everyone.
I hope you are having a lovely Saturday.
I have just finished teaching a lovely Lavinia online class.
We created 3 monochromatic cards, and a couple of bonus toppers.
It was such a wonderful morning.

I have some exciting news.
Have you seen that Lavinia have some new stencils, word stamps and gel press plates.

Here is one of my samples using the Olipsical printing press.

I started by adding colour onto the gel press plate using Billy Brayer.

I used 2 different colours.
Then added the stencil, and used copier paper to take away some of the ink.

I then pressed it onto my card

This is the print, and I just adore it.

Next I added some stamping and some ink splats.

I stamped the Lilium flower again, added some colour and cut it out.

Such a pretty flower

I decoupaged the flower with Pinflair glue gel and added some shade with my Clear Colour grey pen.

Some white highlights just finish off the design.
Here is a closer look.

I added the New Birthday sentiment..
Oh I am so pleased we have these new sentiments,,,thanks Tracey,,,
You can find all these new products on the Lavinia website…

I am off now for some lunch and then into the garden..

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Much love and hugs

That Friday Feeling.

Good morning all,
I do hope you are keeping well.

Another busy day here, and tomorrow is our Lavinia online class .
I must get myself sorted and find some space on my craft table.

Today I am sharing one of my Aall & Create samples with you.

I really loved creating this, it has so many of my favourite techniques in it.
As I adore tags so much I thought I would use 2 on this piece.

I started by adding a background colour to my tags, now you know
how much I adore this colour. Pumice Stone.

Next I added some darker brown ink to give more depth.

I then added some stamping, as this was for the background I went for a tone on tone look.
I stamped out some extra pieces, added colour using ink and water and then cut them out.
I had a large craft stick so I snapped this and stamped on it…you know how much I adore these.

I rooted in my embellishment bag and found some acorns….whoop…result.
I used a 3D glue gel to attach everything.

Some white posca splats, and my design was complete.
Can you see the mug, I had a brew at this point too…

Here is a closer look (at the tag….not my mug 😂)

I hope you like these new stamps, as usual Tracy has created stunning designs .
I always look forwards to seeing what you all create when you get yours.

Must go now…
I need to find time to get in the garden again today.
Just not enough hours in the day .
Maybe I need a superhero to help…
Always time for grandma duties

Take care everyone

Much love and hugs

Green Fingers

Good morning all,
I hope you are having a lovely weekend so far.
Dry here at the minute, but I think we have some heavy rain , even thunder storms around the corner.

Do you remember how I was worried about my Passion flower?
I cut it back and thought that I had killed it…
Well the good news is that it is growing like mad now and has 2 flowers open.

I am so thrilled

I was bought a beautiful white one for my birthday too and that is growing well,
so fingers crossed for some flowers on that one too.
I do love my garden, I hope yours is growing well at the minute.

Speaking about green fingers ( see what I did there lol )
I have another little catch up video to share with you.
A delicate floral design in Green.

So if you have a few minutes to spare , and fancy grabbing a brew and joining me…

Midnight Magic

Good morning everyone,
thanks so much for popping in today.
It is the first of July,
so that means that we have a new Lavinia Challenge.

Our new theme is

Midnight Magic

Here is my inspiration

Here is how I created it.
I started with a selection of Elements ink pads

Spritzed them with water and added them to a piece of Lavinia watercolour card.

Look at this fabulous background.

Can you see the flames?

When dry I began my stamping.

Using the landscape masks I added some scenery.

Some more stamping.
Top

and bottom of the design.

I added some highlights and shadows using my chalk pastel pencils.

I finished off with some sparkly glitter.

Look.

If you would like to enter, then pop along to the
Lavinia website.
You could win £40 to spend at Lavinia and the winner is chosen at random.

That’s all from me for today.
Take care everyone
Much love and hugs
