So we have a new Lavinia Challenge
Our new theme is
Love Is All Around
Here is my inspiration
I love to decorate MDF
I started with the beautiful MDF heart from Lavinia
and drew around it on multifarious card.
Cut it out.
Next some swiping with oxide pads
As you know, I love this technique.
Next some stamping
Have you noticed the cork bench ?
I added some scenery,,,
I love the way the picture grows.
I used the distress college medium to stick the card to the Mdf heart,,,
It is a glue and a glaze
The brushes are perfect for the job too..
Some threads and a sentiment and my heart of love
Is finished

Hi Jo, I love this so much and really want to have a go but could you just answer a couple of questions for me first please?
With the ink swiping, do you literally swipe the ink pad across your work or could I put some of the ink on a sponge and swipe it across my work?
Also, how did you make your cork bench? Was it literally a cork cut in half, coated with ink and stamped on or did you do it some other way? Thanks god your help xxx
