I have been busy catching up in my craft room.

Ticking jobs off my list. 

Went to the post office , 

Walked Eric 

and had a couple of cheeky brews. 

Karl is away tonight, bless him, he is so busy.

Monday already

Hi everyone, 

Happy Monday to you all.

I hope you are feeling well today. 

I must admit that I am shattered. 

The Craft show at York racecourse was fabulous yesterday, so busy. 

By the time we had put everything away , loaded the van for James, then driven home it was nearly 7pm.

Such an amazing  day, but full on and so exhausting. 

I have found that after reaching 60, I do get so tired so quickly.

I am definitely going to have to slow down a little.

So many possibilities 

I am busy packing my craft bags ready for the show on Sunday 

I have my cushion ready,

Otherwise I can’t reach the table lol 😂

One more sleep

Hi everyone, 

Hope today is treating you well.

I am popping in today with a couple more samples to share with you,,,

Only one more sleep and then 

All Things Magical will be released 

First I have another sample using the new Sticker stencils

This time I have added the bottle stop stamp, a stencil and some fairies…only 

One of them seems to be a bit stuck 

I do hope they get her out. 

The second one is just a good old play 

I started by stamping one of the wonderful new bottle stamps and making a mask for it 

 

Next I addd some stencil work 

Some wings.

Well it is a bottle of magic potion 

After removing the mask it was time for those finishing touches 

Some Posca splats and a couple of sentiments,

Here is a closer look 

There are so many possibilities with this new collection 

Grandma duties for me today , so with walking Eric too I have done 8,754 steps already

Only 30mins and I’m walking back to school, to collect the little men.

All good fun..

Sausage and mash for them for tea tonight 

And a cheeky egg custard too

Snailhouse

Hi everyone, 

How are things going today ? 

I do hope you are having a good day…

If not…big hugs 

Poor Eric had a bad evening after his physio ,

So I sat with him and his hot water bottle for an hour, bless him. 

Today I have another sample using the new sticker stencils, 

I just had to make one of the bottles into a fish tank…

Such fun

I also have a design using the new Snailhouse stamp 

I started off with some stamping. Remeber the near stamping is better done at the beginning 

A little masking was needed too 

Next I added the square sticker stencil 

and the elements ink. 

After removing the frame I added some colour 

Some Wink of colour 

Some finishing touches, black pastel pencil ,  white posca and water droplets. 

It all helps the flat design have a 3D appearance. 

I think there are so many possibilities with these new stamps.

Remember they are being released on 

Friday 26th January 

Only 2 more sleeps

That Rogue feeling

Good morning all, 

Thanks so much for popping in today. 

I do hope you slept well 

Today I have another sample to share with you. 

I have used some new stamps with some of our favourite ones. 

These new ones really do play nicely with our stash,,,

Rogue really makes me smile,,

Bless her, she is really struggling to pull this plant out…

Have you ever had one of those days? 

A real struggle? 

She has so much character and determination.

I just love her 

Recently we have been asked a lot about the correct way to make a design

Stamp first or 

Background first.

My take on it is, 

It depends on what project you are doing, what techniques you are using, 

Stamps, are they silhouettes , 

Also sometimes for me it just depends how the mood takes me,,,

Just have fun 

On this occasion I started with stamping..

Just so I could get a feel for my new stamps, 

More stamping , building up the design 

Next I added some base colour, some grounding 

Then some scenery 

And finally 

Those wonderful finishing touches

New release…All Things Magical

Good morning everyone

I hope you had a lovely weekend,

The workshop on Saturday went well, always so good spending time with crafty friends

Yesterday we took Elliot and Jenson to Glebe Farm.

We had a ride on the train, saw lots of animals and birds, and had a lovely lunch. 

Just the best time ever. 

Today I have news about 

Lavinia stamps new release 

All Things Magical 

We have a new range of stamps and sticker stencils being released this Friday 

26th January 

I have had great fun using these 

The new stamps mix and match so well with existing ones 

Some stamping 

Some colour 

Some finishing  touches 

I love these little decoupaged bottles. 

We also have 2 new sets of sticker stencils 

As soon as I saw them

Chilly Friday

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in today 

Another cold and frosty day here in Cheshire 

Definitely a day to stay in , keep warm and do some crafting. 

I had a lovely walk with Eric this morning, so glad that we have a coat for him,,

With his arthritis he really feels the cold now.

Grandma duties and food shop have kept me busy this morning too, 

I have also topped up the bird feeders and made sure there is plenty of water for our feathered friends too.

So important to look after them at this time of year. 

Tomorrow I have my first online class of the year.

I am so chuffed with how many crafters have signed up. 

I know times can be tough so I have kept all my online classes at £10 each for yet another year. 

This month is 

January Joy 

Four beautiful clean and simple designs, 

Perfect to entice Mr MoJo back after Christmas

I can’t believe that every weekend in my diary is booked up from now until the end of November
