Poppy Meadow Easel Card

Hi, here we are Tuesday evening....and how are you?
I have been getting ready for tomorrow's workshops....we are making a poppy canvas card....oh, it's going to be such a good day....but you will have to pop back tomorrow to see the cards....
Today, I thought I would share a project with you that I recently made for Kay.

It is an Easel card made using the wonderful Poppy Meadow stamp set.
The background was made using PanPastels. The main images were stamped using memento ink and then coloured in using ProMarker pens....I do love poppies and the range of colours that they grow in.

I also used one of the lovely little mini canvases....(they are so sweet) stamped, coloured it and then carefully positioned it in the correct place....easier said than done!!!

I do find that if I have to add heavy embellishments or canvases, an Easel card is a great way to take the extra weight.

The butterfly is taken from the Wild Meadow stamp set and I stamped it in FlitterGlu and then used black embossing powder...cut it out and stuck it on with glue gel...
Ribbon and hat pins were used to add the finishing touches....
The canvases are such a versatile addition to your crafty stash and if you haven't used them why not give them a go.....
Just before I go, I do need to remind you about our current IndigoBlu Forever Challenge....this months theme is Flowers......have you had a look?
Happy Crafting.....Jo. X
