Blazing Poppies

Hi, hope you are well and keeping dry and warm.
Today was a busy day with two workshops, but so enjoyable...I do love crafty time with my friends. One of our crafters is in hospital and we all wish her all the best and a speedy recovery.
Another one of our gang has her Birthday today, .....any excuse for a party.
Today, we made this card with the lovely new Blazing Poppies stamp from IndigoBlu.

The main image was stamped with Memento ink and then coloured with ProMarkers. The smaller image is a mini Love Is stamp and was simply stamped in black ink. The background used a selection of background stamps and Distress Inks. Ribbon and a Memory Box die finish off the design.
Our second project after coffee and chocolate biscuits was to start and make a Paper and Card tag book.......
This is my idea of a way to keep information to hand .

A variety of tags are made from different materials. The front is decorated accordingly and information is written on the reverse...
For example one tag was made from Centura Peale card and stamped on the reverse with Distress ink.
It is a great way of recording what type of ink pads are used also...
This can be hung up in your craft room with more tags and ideas added.
Happy Crafting and see you soon,
Jo. X

Simple Stamping.....

Oh what a wet Sunday it has been, roll on warm summer days.....
Well I had an eventful morning last week, whilst Tess and me were having our early morning walk, an empty car rolled backwards down the street towards us......picture little old me and big daft Labrador holding the back of this car trying to stop it and shouting for help....thankfully a passing motorist helped, we halted it and kept things safe until the police came.....And I thought my nickname was Tinkerbell not Wonder Woman!!!!!
On a crafty note here is another card using the Live, Laugh, Love stamp plate from IndigoBlu. The background is made with PanPastels and a homemade mask....

A nice , quick and easy card....
Thanks for looking in and see you soon,
Hugs Jo. X
