It is a beautiful morning here in Holmes Chapel.

I am just back home after walking the boys to school…

They were both on lovely moods this morning…

Such good company. 

As it is a new month 

We have a new Lavinia Challenge 

Our theme for May is

Secret Garden 

and I can’t wait to see what you make…

Think outside the box 

All the unusual places  that a garden could be hidden 

Not just the obvious.

Here is some inspiration 

My Underwater Secret Garden 

I started with a gel press sample that I had demonstrated at the open day.

Simple ink and copier paper..

Next some stamping 

Some more stamping and then those all 

important finishing touches. 

Here is a closer look

Look how flat it is…but with pastel pencils we can 

create the illusion of 3D 

Glossy accents and highlights on those rays of light..

All finished off with a sentiment sticker
