Busy day in my craft room but Cumbria projects all finished 

and class list sent out.

So that is good 

I have just walked Eric and it has just started raining, 

So we got back dry…just

Scout Amongst The Bulrushes

Hi everyone, 

I hope today is going well and that you had a lovely weekend.

I had some craft jobs to catch up with so ended up working Saturday afternoon. 

My treat was a meal out with Karl, Mikey and Fran. 

We had a wonderful evening and it was just what I needed.

Grandma Duties and new classes

Hi everyone 

Thanks so much for popping in 

I do hope you have had a lovely day…

I am feeling so much better this week…thank goodness 

Today I have been on grandma duties…

This morning I took Elliot shopping 

He had great fun choosing some bedtime reading 

And some new t-shirts and pj’s

It is sleep over night tonight..

I definitely will need a day off by Sunday 

I am so pleased to say that I have our next online workshop ready for bookings 

March Magic..

With spring card designs..

I have keep the price for my online classes at £10 for the last few years…

Let’s face it with everything else going up.

We need something to stay constant

Monday Already

Hi everyone 

Thanks so much for popping in today. 

I do hope you had a lovely weekend. 

I must admit that I am finally feeling a bit better.

I must thank all those crafters who joined me on Saturday morning 

for our online workshop.

They coped with my sniffles and cough very well. 

I must say they have posted the most amazing homework too

I am so, so proud of them all. 

On Saturday afternoon we went out with some friends for some chill time. 

Thanks to Karl for driving and to 

Mark and Paulette for their company. 

We had dinner in a lovely hotel and stayed over .

So many laughs, it really was the tonic that I needed.

Thanks to Aunty Lisa too who looked after Eric …

Oh and the fish…

I am so thankful for Special Friends

Happy Valentines Day

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in today. 

I just wanted to say 

Happy Valentines Day to you all, 

You are wonderful and loved 

and deserve a beautiful day. 

As I am typing this , those lovely words I am sat in my craft room with Eric resting on my feet

Tissues by my side and a hot lemon.

I really wish I could start to feel better, the pain in my glands is just no fun at all.

Gentle group hug 

As it is Valentines Day

I thought it was a good day to share another sample for our Lavinia Challenge 

Love is all Around 

I went with gilding flakes and opulence for this one 

First some black card, Sizzix 3D adhesive paste and our replenish stencil.

Gently apply the paste through the stencil, I like to use a pallet knife 

Next remove the stencil and give it a good wash in warm soapy water. 

Leave it to dry , for me it takes about 50minutes.

You will see it turn from white to shiny black 

Then the fun of adding the gilding flakes.

I always find rubbing my hands with my antistatic bag before helps. 

Some gentle polishing and look 

Next some stamping and adding colour with my no 3 stencil brush 

I used some Lokta paper for added texture, (using a wet paintbrush to help tear a lovely edge ) 

Some playtime to assemble the design, a sentiment 

and some white posca splats 

Lots of love went into making this card

Monday Morning

Good morning everyone, 

I do hope today is treating you well. 

I am still under the weather…, I know so many of you 

are feeling the same,,

Yesterday it was the 

Sincerely Yours Paper craft show in Leigh 

It was such a wonderful, very busy day 

Always great to be with James and Stampers Grove

And I would be lost without Lisa, my right hand lady 

It was great to catch up with so many friends…

Thanks for the extra coffee, cake and fudge…

And Sarah for my new friend….to watch over me when I am crafting.

I adore her 

I must admit that I am shattered today…

So I went and did a little weedimg in the communal garden.

So lovely to chat with people as they walk past…

So good for the soul.

Nearly the weekend

Love Is All Around

Morning everyone, 

 I do hope you are keeping well. 

I’m still shattered after the weekend, 

but an extra coffee today will help. 

Wow, 

It is February already.

So we have a new Lavinia Challenge 

Our new theme is 

Love Is All Around 

Here is my inspiration 

I love to decorate MDF

I started with the beautiful MDF heart from Lavinia 

and drew around it on multifarious card. 

Cut it out.

Next some swiping with oxide pads 

As you know, I love this technique. 

Next some stamping 

Have you noticed the cork bench ?

I added some scenery,,,

I love the way the picture grows.

I used the distress college medium to stick the card to the Mdf heart,,,

It is a glue and a glaze

The brushes are perfect for the job too..

Some threads and a sentiment and my heart of love 

Is finished
