Lovely ladies in Anglesey...

Good afternoon all and thanks for popping in this Sunday , we have just got home after a lovely weekend in Anglesey....both dogs are fast asleep....it must be all those long walks and the fresh air...

The sun was shining this morning but it was quite windy and rather nippy.., but at least it was dry...

So good to be outside, and walking off all those calories from the extra Cake that I had on Saturday...( thanks Julie it was really yummy )

We had our first Anglesey workshop of the year, and it was so good to sees many friends come back and to meet some new ladies. I am so chuffed that so many crafters come back time after time to join in the classes , some even travel and join in a few in different area....

Our main focus on Saturday was to learn all about blending and ladies you nailed it,...

Starting with a card,

And then moving onto a jigsaw,

Which we mounted and turned it into a lovely piece of art,

Wow, look at these, I am so proud of you all...absolutely stunning....

After lunch we focuses on stamping and masking,

And then some good old Smooshing after tea and cake...

All the stamps can be found on the Clarity website....along with many other must have items...

We have chicken in the oven ready for our Sunday dinner, then it will be another busy week, well, the whole month is busy...but then busy is good.....and it will soon be my first trip over the waters to Ireland....oh I am so excited,,,.

Enjoy your evening all,

Much love and hugs,

Jo. xxx

So pleased the weather kept dry for you, this afternoon the sun was shining and I had to throw open the windows, but I guess you were on your way home by then. Anglesey is such a lovely place to take the dogs lots of beaches and open spaces xx You'll sleep tonight after all that fresh air xx hugs Annie

Beautiful projects by everyone well done. XX

Quick question Jo, what can I use to 'seal' the distress inks on the puzzles so they are more durable for children? I have been racking my brain to think of something that I can use that won't stick the puzzle together! Any help would be great. XX

don't know what Jo thinks but i reckon a spray with crafter's companion spray and shine might do the trick xx

Hi Donna, yes, I agree with Theresa, I have sprayed mine with Crafters Companion Stray and Shine.....I sprayed them whole. But did two light sprays not one heavy spray. I use an old box as a spray booth and always keep the can upright....hope you get on ok. ...any problems just drop me an email....hugs...xxx

Thank you Theresa and Jo, I will get some ordered and spray them. Can't wait to see if the children like them. Was going to get some more and then give them a puzzle to decorate for a friend. Xx
