When it is a wreath.....
Good evening all , I have just got in after workshops in Hazel Grove....and what a fabulous time we had...
We used a brilliant little Fern stamp from Clarity....you may remember it from the canvas on Saturday's blog.... Here we used it to make a wreath...I know...my new obsession...!!!
Start by stamping....remember to turn your card...
And keep stamping..
And keep stamping..
This now has so many possibilities....change the colour of the ink...and you get a whole different look....
I am thinking brown and oranges for autumn....
I went for this gorgeous little number...the Daisies New Design stamp no 99.
Our second card....used the Fern again...
Oh and those wonderful little Wee Fairies.....( hey Donna.....see what I mean...)
I must thank all the crafters today....it really is just like a big crafty family and you are the reason that I love what I do........
Julie we are going to miss you whilst you are in Germany...but good job Barbara is on German tv...
Have a lovely evening all....
Time for some food...
Love and hugs.....
Jo. xxxx

Now what an excellent idea to use the wee folk ;) I never can get over how different a stamp looks when it is used in a wreath design, this one will definitely be on my next Clarity order. What do you use to make the tiny dots on the ferns as they are so pretty I want to give it a try? Thanks Jo. XX
Its ok as I posted I thought I could just look at the fern canvas and find out! Perfect pearls, now I don't have these but do have Cosmic Pearl glue that I use to make pearly drops, I just need to practice making the drops smaller! XX
Thanks Donna, I do love to make wreath cards....and they are so quick to create....the dots are made using Liquid Pearls....I do find it gives great results and is very cast effective....it works on canvas too....have a great evening...hugs...xxx
wreaths are your signature Jo. great one again. like the composition of second and it works well, you know my sticking point, hugs xx
gorgeous use of the fern stamp Jo - lovely!!! Big hugs rachel x
Two great projects! Thank you x
Jo these are fabulous and I'm sure you and your ladies had a fabulous day.
I tried a wreath card a few days ago but it's not as perfect as yours. Can I ask what paper you use for your daisies please?
Hi Yvonne, thanks for your lovely comments...and I have found a pack of white card in my local craft shop....it is perfect for shaping , but thin enough to cut out easily....ideal for workshops....it is 160 gsm....hope that helps....hugs...xxx
It sure does help Jo - thanks so much xx
