Good afternoon all, thanks for looking in today....I have been gardening this morning...so now it is time for a well earned cup of tea and catch up with blog land...
Yesterday it was workshops day at C.J. CardCraft and we decorated MDF letters and made wreath cards ..one of our new ladies Vicki hadn't used PanPastels before...so I made a little canvas to show her how easy they are to use....
Now when I checked on the PanPastel blog their new Challenge theme is Anything goes....so I am going to have some fun and enter the Challenge...
Here is the finished canvas...And here is how I made it...
I started with a canvas board from Clarity and used a post it to mask the sun....the PanPastels just glide over the canvas....
Next I added the sun using one of the little sox....
To give the impression of clouds....I just used a rubber and removed the Pastel..
How cool is that...
Next the foliage...I used this brilliant little Fern stamp from Clarity...
I also edged the canvas by dragging the Archival ink pad around the circumference ...
To set the Pastels I like to use one of the Crafters Companion sprays...this time I choose the Spray and Sparkle...the iridescent one,.
I have a spray booth.....o.k. A box......
Next came the butterflies...one of my favourite Clarity stamps...And some mount board...
Plus some little flowers on the fern branches...
How quick but effective is that.....
Here is a closer look...
If you would like to join me in the Challenge ...pop over now.... http://panpasteluk.blogspot.co.uk/2015/04/challenge-8-anything-goes-with.html
Just before I go back into the garden I would like to wish a Happy Birthday to one of our wonderful crafters from yesterday....
Happy Birthday Susan.........hope you are having a great day....
Look ....I found this photo of us two ....yah....
Right....must get on...still lots to do....
Have a great week....let's hope we get some more sunshine...
Love and hugs
Jo. xxxx

This is something I am going to do, just have to get my first canvas order in! Great stamp, will have to look for that too. The canvas would have looked good with the wee folk on as well, looks like a magical background. Happy Sunday. XX
This is lovely Jo. I have pastels though not pan pastels and have yet to pluck up courage and have a go at a canvas!!! As I have a whole stack of them I need to start soon and this idea has really helped. Hugs xx

Hi Jo, just thought I'd pop over and see what you are up to. Pleased I did as this might just give me the encouragement to get the Pan Pastels out, not used them for a while. Looks like you had a good day.
Sending big crafty hugs, Angela x
