Friday catch up

It was very cold this morning walking the boys to school. 

Speaking of boys , Jenson came back early yesterday as he had swallowed a piece of brick !!!!!

Don’t ask….he is ok , thank goodness 

This weekend I am at the craft show at York Racecourse.

I will be on the Stampers Grove stand 

With James , Kate and my Right Hand buddy Lisa 

I do hope to see some of you there.

Hanging Shrooms

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in again.

I do hope your week has started well. 

It is very cold here in Holmes Chapel. 

I must admit that I had a lovely surprise this morning 

When I came out of the supermarket, there was a bunch of daffodils tucked in the drivers handle of my car. 

What a lovely gesture.

It really made my day…

Today is the day

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in again.

It has been such a busy but enjoyable week

Today is the day that the new 

Herbs and Delights Collection is available from Lavinia stamps 

I have another  sample to share with you 

You might say that the cheeky mice are 

Making. Song and dance about the new collection 

I started off lightly adding some colour through the sticker stencils 

Next I added a darker colour to add shape to the bottle 

I stamped the mice , 

They really do make me smile,

Followed by some music notes 

And then some sky , just to give some atmosphere 

The finishing touches of highlights and shadow really help build up the design. 

All complemented with some yellow parcel posca.

These new products have so many possibilities and mix and match with what we already have in our stash. 

I have our February online class tomorrow. 

I always look forwards to spending Saturday morning catching up with friends, having a brew, a cheeky snack and being creative.

It is Jenson’s 6th Birthday today 

So we had a party breakfast and it will be a party tea after school

A Collection of Bottles

Hi everyone, 

Only me again.

Thanks so much for popping in today.

I have a fun little sample to share with you today 

This uses the 2 new sets of sticker stencils, 

A good old collection of bottles 

Not quite 10 green ones ! 

This is a great way of practicing masking with your sticker stencils 

You need to work out which bottle will be the front one 

Then add the ink.

Use the inner of the sticker stencils to mask off the bottle 

Add the bottles 

One at a time 

Finishing off with the one at the back.

I must admit , I did have to concentrate 

Some extra stencil work in the background and pastel pencils to add highlights and shade 

My favourite part 

Then some butterflies to complete the design
