Clarity Homework

Morning all, I hope you have a good day planned.
Our Clarity homework this month was to produce a card using the Sports Set of stamps. This is my take on a card for a football fan, using a Satsuma net and a Brayer to produce the background. Juniper Adirondack was the ink used.
Remember Barbara Gray and Clarity stamps are on C&C today at 9am & 2pm.
Enjoy! x

Workshop - Create a Scene

Our workshop this week, taught us about building up a scene using individual stamps. We used a brilliant stamp set from Hobby Art called the Autumn Scene-its, if you haven't used this yet, please do so as it's very addictive.

The above card uses Memento Ink and ProMarkers and is finished off with a sentiment also from Hobby Art.
The card on the left uses a Sheena Douglass technique, where distress ink is applied to the back of Centura Pearl card, the image is then stamped using VersaFine, water is then used to take the colour out and reveal white areas.
The card on the right uses water colour paper, VersaFine ink and AquaMarkers.
One stamp set, 3 different looks, what do you think?
Have a good weekend. x

Poppy Fields

Hi all and hope today finds you well.
This is one of my favourite cards and uses my new toy, the PanPastels. IndigoBlu stamps have been used with distress ink to produce the base card. The 2 images have been stamped in black and then PanPastels add the shade. Cosmic Shimmer Pearlescent PVA glue in black and ribbon add the finishing touches.
Have you tried PanPastels, if not, why not give them a try.
Bye for now. x

Flight of the Magpie

Morning all the start of another week, today's project is created using Clarity Stamps.
The background has been stamped with Juniper Adirondack Ink and the main image with Momento Ink, highlighted with ProMarkers and 3 layers of ultra thick embossing powder on top. I stamped the Magpie image twice, then cut 2 of the birds out, which I then decoupaged onto the background. These are lovely stamps to use, hope you all have a good week ahead. x

Fairy Folk

Weekend is here, yeh more time to craft!
These 2 cards use a brilliant stamp plate by Hobby Art called, Fairy Folk. There are many different images which can be used in many different ways.
The above card uses distress ink and water colour techniques for the main image. The background is made by stamping with VersaMark, white embossing powder to produce a resist and then distress ink added.
Same stamp set, but a different look!
Black card, VersaMark ink and gold detail embossing powder are used to produce this effect. Ribbon and hatpins complement the design.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. x

Tool Box

Have you been stuck for a card for a male friend?
Well I have the answer for you, a brilliant design team that produce fantastic images that are great for colouring with Alcohol Markers.

JustInklined produce amongst other things a great, easy to use C.D. called The Next Big Thing.
This is one image from the c.d. and has been coloured using a combination of ProMarkers and MetallicMarkers.
Have a good day and do pop back soon, Jo. x
