Make A Wish

Marvellous March online Class

Hi everyone, 

I do hope today is going well. 

Another beautiful day in Holmes Chapel. 

This sun is really making the crocuses open up and look so beautiful. 

The village is stunning and it is so wonderful to walk around 

I just wanted to pop in and let you know about our March online Class

Eric has a physio appointment tomorrow, 

Then I am at the optician on Wednesday. 

I have a funny black line with dots across my right eye. It is so annoying .

I keep hoping it will go away…but it has been there for months now. 

Always something. 

At least the weather was beautiful this weekend.

I managed an hour in the garden,,,

Oh it was amazing 

Always makes me feel so much better .

Animal Magic

Good morning everyone, 

I do hope your weekend has started well 

Happy St David’s Day to all at Lavinia stamps and all our 

wonderful Welsh friends. 

As it is the first of March we have a new Lavinia stamps Challenge 

This month our theme is 

Animal Magic 

All the details can be found on the Lavinia website ,

The winner is chosen at random and wins a £40 voucher for Lavinia stamps 

Here is some inspiration. 

This stared with a stencil clean up piece of card 

I then added a sticker stencil 

Some stamping , our lovely Luka 

Plus some little bumble bees 

and some colour 

A sentiment and some finishing touches. 

We have so many fabulous animal stamps,,.I can’t wait to see what

you chose to use

Hanging Shrooms

Today is the day

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in again.

It has been such a busy but enjoyable week

Today is the day that the new 

Herbs and Delights Collection is available from Lavinia stamps 

I have another  sample to share with you 

You might say that the cheeky mice are 

Making. Song and dance about the new collection 

I started off lightly adding some colour through the sticker stencils 

Next I added a darker colour to add shape to the bottle 

I stamped the mice , 

They really do make me smile,

Followed by some music notes 

And then some sky , just to give some atmosphere 

The finishing touches of highlights and shadow really help build up the design. 

All complemented with some yellow parcel posca.

These new products have so many possibilities and mix and match with what we already have in our stash. 

I have our February online class tomorrow. 

I always look forwards to spending Saturday morning catching up with friends, having a brew, a cheeky snack and being creative.

So we had a party breakfast and it will be a party tea after school

A Collection of Bottles

Hi everyone, 

Only me again.

Thanks so much for popping in today.

I have a fun little sample to share with you today 

This uses the 2 new sets of sticker stencils, 

A good old collection of bottles 

Not quite 10 green ones ! 

This is a great way of practicing masking with your sticker stencils 

You need to work out which bottle will be the front one 

Then add the ink.

Use the inner of the sticker stencils to mask off the bottle 

Add the bottles 

One at a time 

Finishing off with the one at the back.

I must admit , I did have to concentrate 

Some extra stencil work in the background and pastel pencils to add highlights and shade 

My favourite part 

Then some butterflies to complete the design
