Happy Christmas

This morning we took Eric for a lovely walk to the park…

It was very wet, but still so beautiful..

He loved it so much. 

A lovely way to start the day…no shopping…no rushing around…it was truly wonderful 

We are now having hot chocolate in front of the fire.

An extra little gift

Hi everyone, 

Hope your Friday is going well. 

Another busy day here, 

Grandma duties, shopping, ironing and lots on my craft list. 

Oh yes and my online class this evening. 

I must remeber….

Tonight we are creating festive wrapping designs, paper, tags , bags, etc 

Basically having a wonderful crafty catch up…

With friends, coffee, maybe a mince pie…or two

Also there will be chocolate. 

We will be decorating chocolate bars.

They make great gifts.

Brown paper, Lavinia stamps and decorative tape, 

plus a few embellishments. 

Tim Holtz paper and embellishments 

Just have a good old rummage 

and use what you have 

The little fir cones are the ones that I collect when walking Eric 

There is a fabulous large tree in Holmes Chapel that sheds these .

There are so many on the ground , especially after it has been windy…

Mid Month Reminder

Hi everyone,

I know there are lots of winter bugs here in the UK,

I am just popping in to remind you about the December Lavinia Challenge 

The Magic of Christmas 

This month you could win £60 to spend at Lavinia 

and remember the winner is chosen at random 

Here is some inspiration 

This is inside 

I decorated the envelope too 

I started off with with some masking using Lavinia Low Tack tape and some stamping 

Next I added some scenery 

And then a little more colour into the sky.

I have definitely got more adventurous with my colours. 

Next I changed to the small stencil brush to add more depth of colour 

A little more stamping and then some detail using my gel pens. 

Some more stamping to add depth and to ground the design.

Then some posca for those finishing touches 

Once the tape is removed the full magic can be seen

Adventure card with our Reindeer

Hi everyone,

Very wet and dark here.

 Poor Eric had physio today and Katie has seen a decline in him.

He seems to be in more pain in his spine and down his front legs  now…bless him.

Definitely more cuddles needed 

After physio I came home, made a coffee and came to my craft room to have a catch up with you all. 

Unfortunately the boys school phoned and Jenson has had a fall and bumped his head…

Nothing serious but he needed picking up from school   oh.  And cuddles. 

I think it is one of those days
