Adorable Creatures

Good morning everyone,
It is a lovely sunny start to the day here in Holmes Chapel.
I have just got back from the post office.
I have posted some samples ready for the shows this weekend on
The Craft Store.
We have more fabulous designs by Janet Klein
For this sample I just mixed and matched my little friends.

I do love to do this.
The idea of animals standing on each other is not a new design.
It has been around for years.
(I bet the dinosaurs were the first to do it. )
I just love the expressions on their faces.

I started by stamping the rocks  at the bottom of the card.
I stamped all my creatures and I added colour using my watercolour paints.
I really wanted this piece to be a bright and cheerful piece.

It was great fun deciding who was going to stand on who…!!!

The poor giraffe at the bottom,,,look at his face

I hope it makes you smile.

Take care
and pop back soon
Much love and hugs

Who lives here ?

Good morning all,
I hope you have woken up feeling fresh and healthy.
I have walked Eric and I am just about to go and collect the boys.
We are off to the farm…
They have animals, a soft play centre and a coffee shop.
Fingers crossed that I won’t be too busy.

Today I have another sample to share with you.
This one features more fabulous stamps by Janet Klein

The outside

And inside

I had such a fun morning creating this.

I started with the doors.

Carefully cutting them so that they would open

And then moved to the inside, carefully lining everything up.

Some finishing off details.
I added some brick work

And then some extra embellishments.
Janet’s stamps are such a wealth of these little extra stamps

Look

A real project, to just loose yourself in and enjoy.

I hope you have a lovely day

Take care
Much love and hugs

Peekaboo

Good morning everyone,
I do hope today finds you well.
I hope your week has started well, another busy day here.

Today I am popping in with a recent sample to share with you.
This one features some new Janet Klein stamps.

I have added in one of Janet’s stencils too.

I love the way you can use just part of a stencil.

I added some ink splats too.
On separate card I stamped the cheeky girl and a couple of butterflies.
I added some colour and then cut them out.
I also added some ink scribbles to ground the flower

I used some grey ink to add shadows and finish off the design

It was such fun to create this.
I really hope it makes you smile.

Take care all
Much love and hugs

Poppy Meadow

Good afternoon all
I do hope you are having a lovely afternoon .
Yesterday we had such a wonderful workshop.
We looked at creating Index Cards, how we can use them and how we can store them.
The ladies created the most amazing pieces of art..
I am always so proud of them.

Today I have a little catch up video to share with you

It is a Poppy meadow at sunset.
A real happy card design
Here is a closer look

I do hope that you enjoy it.

Time for feed up here, a brew and some tv before bed.

Take care all.

Today’s Christmas card

Good morning all,
I hope you have woken up feeling refreshed and ready for another day.
Today I have another little catch up video to share with you.

I have used the extending the landscape technique again, this time to create a Christmas card.
This would be great for batch card making

It would also look great in different colour tones.

You can find the link for the YouTube video here

I hope you enjoy it.

I have another busy day, some samples to finish off ready to post tomorrow.
Then I am having the boys for a couple of hours, whilst Adam is at work and Daniele gets some course work done.

The boys really keep me on my toes.
I just love them to bits
They love the mini trollies in Boots.
Look

I hope you have a good day….
Sending a special hug if you need one…

Much love and hugs

Woodland Friends

Good morning everyone,
I hope you are having a lovely weekend.
As it is the first of August, it means that we have a new Lavinia Challenge.
Our new theme is
Woodland friends.

As we have so many fabulous stamps to choose from, and I couldn’t decide which ones to use.
I decided to create some ATC’s
So that I could use as many as possible.

I had such a wonderful time ,
Just creating little pieces of art work.
If you haven’t met ATC’s before they are miniature pieces of art work to give away or swap.
The important thing is the size..
They are 3.5inches by 2.5inches.

Here is a closer look

I had to include the Forest Hare and Mr Fox

A night owl and a mischievous mouse too.

The hedgehog sweethearts, and a couple of Forest spiders.

Did you spot one of the new stencils ?
You can use stamps, stencils, inks. Anything you wish.

I started with my stamping first.
Do remember to blot it.

Next I added some ink, and the moon.

Shite pastel pencil and posca pens ad the finishing touches.

The beauty of these ATC’s is that they make great toppers too.
So I now have a few ready for those emergency cards.

If you would like to join in with the challenge just pop along to the Lavinia website
Remember the winner is drawn at random and wins £40 to spend at Lavinia

I must go now,
Eric is waiting for his walk.
Take care all

Much love and hugs
