Good morning all,
Wow just where have the last few days gone...? I can't believe that it is Wednesday already...
Did you catch Barbara on TV on Sunday...more sell outs....wow amazing stuff.
I was so pleased that she featured my bread board using her new Dancing Cockeral and hen stamp set....
I do love doing Pyrography ....in fact I have been doing it longer than card making...
I used to sketch and paint rare breed hens...( my family would travel around the country showing them, my Mum was a national judge for the Rosecomb breed , and my Dad is helping to stop us loosing such breeds as Leghorns and Minorcas with his breeding programme....)
My Dad actually bought me my first Pyrography machine whilst I was still at school.....( oh many...many...years ago..)
This is what the machine looks like..., and you can use it on wood, leather. Paper etc...
I like to either draw the design or stamp it first and then burn them, it really is great fun...and each item can be personalised....
Here is the Dancing Cockeral on his own...
And here we have the geese....
And a slightly different design using the geese...
I just had to use the wise old Owls too...
The great thing is that these boards are safe to use.....
I do like to add some colour to some items...And here is a selection of hairbrushes...
That is the thing with crafters we really do love to use many skills and different materials and techniques in our crafting.....
And most of all we love to share......
Have a good day all....
Better get on....lots more to do....
Hugs all round and see you soon...

ReplyDeleteWhat a great talent! I would love to give it a go, unlike you though I would have to use a stamp every time, if I tried to hand draw anything it would only be worth burning on the fire!! Xx
