Distressed

Good morning....we made it to Friday...yah...and what a beautiful sunny week it has been....I do believe the weather men are predicting a change ready for the weekend....boo hoo...

Anyway....back to today.....and it is a new challenge over at the Fussy and Fancy Challenge Blog...

Challenge 141.... And our new theme is ....... Distressed.......

We are sponsored this week by Aurora Wings......and here is my DT Inspiration...

I started by stamping this gorgeous Clarity stamp.....The Floral Crook....

And then started to distress by using a Distress Ink....well it would be daft not too.....also the script stamp from the Journalling set.


Next I created a piece of background card...Once again using stamps from the Journalling set.

No distressing is complete without the ink splats....so some Distress Stain onto my craft mat...pick up with a paintbrush and flick....

I added colour to the topper using my Spectrum Noir pencils.

Then uses a pair of scissors to distress the edges.

Using my Distress ink, I changed the colour of a paper doily ...

And added it to the design...these are great to add another layer to your cards...

Some flowers and Leaves from Sweet Lilac Flowers...

And a metal embellishment to complete the design...
