Happy Valentines Day

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in today. 

I just wanted to say 

Happy Valentines Day to you all, 

You are wonderful and loved 

and deserve a beautiful day. 

As I am typing this , those lovely words I am sat in my craft room with Eric resting on my feet

Tissues by my side and a hot lemon.

I really wish I could start to feel better, the pain in my glands is just no fun at all.

Gentle group hug 

As it is Valentines Day

I thought it was a good day to share another sample for our Lavinia Challenge 

Love is all Around 

I went with gilding flakes and opulence for this one 

First some black card, Sizzix 3D adhesive paste and our replenish stencil.

Gently apply the paste through the stencil, I like to use a pallet knife 

Next remove the stencil and give it a good wash in warm soapy water. 

Leave it to dry , for me it takes about 50minutes.

You will see it turn from white to shiny black 

Then the fun of adding the gilding flakes.

I always find rubbing my hands with my antistatic bag before helps. 

Some gentle polishing and look 

Next some stamping and adding colour with my no 3 stencil brush 

I used some Lokta paper for added texture, (using a wet paintbrush to help tear a lovely edge ) 

Some playtime to assemble the design, a sentiment 

and some white posca splats 

Lots of love went into making this card
