Art From The Heart

Good morning everyone,
I hope today finds you well.
Welcome to another new follower, I am so chuffed to have you join us.

I am popping in with another Lavinia sample for you ,
I do hope that you like it.

I really enjoyed creating this one, and it is just a bit different from all the others.
You know I am constantly trying to come up with variations on designs.

I started by using one of the circle masks, the outer one this time.
I added some gentle inking
This is what I created.

Next I added some stamping, using copier paper to mask off areas.

This is what I created.
Next I added some light and shade using my chalk pastel pencils,  I really think this brings out
all the beautiful detail of the stamps.

Next some snow and shadows.

I love trying to create a 3D look
When it is just a flat piece of card

Here is a closer look

Such a majestic beast.

Thanks as always for joining me today

Much love and hugs
Jo xxx

  1. Smashing way to use the mask for the outer edge too, Jo. I’ll be having a go at that nifty design later as crafting weather has returned to Melton Mowbray today with rain all day.... 🥳 Hugs, Sue. x
