Good morning all,
I hope you are keeping well.
We have woken up to a very foggy day here in Cheshire.
What is the weather like for you today ?
It is quite cold too,
We definitely needed lots of layers when walking Eric first thing.
Today I have another recent sample for you.
This uses a fabulous new Aall & Create stencil .
#128-Hexagons & Buds by Bipasha Bk
I started by using the stencil on my gel press, I had to remember to place it upside down, so that the numbers will be the
correct way on my final print.
I used Colorbox ink as it has a good pigment to water ratio, great for the gel press.
I just love the way the print has turned out...
Next I blended some ink around the edges, and added some water splatters,
You know I just love the way this frames the design.
I wanted to keep the print quite simple as I didn’t want to loose my stencil piece so that it just became almost
Invisible in the background.
So I needed a focal point, but not one that would take away the beauty of the background.
So added a little more stamping in black and some carrots , plus a little pen doodling.
I just added a little colour to the carrots and decoupaged their bodies.
Oh that sounds painful,,,lol.
I also decoupaged the number section, another recent obsession of mine.
Some white posca splats to add the finishing detail.
Here is a closer look
I think this would make a great card for a gardener , male or female.
Maybe include a packet of seeds too.
Thanks for joining me again,
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
Much love and hugs

Ooooh, I just love that ghostly imprint of the stencil Jo, what a great technique. Love the pop of colour with the carrots. A gorgeous sample my friend. Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteI’m loving this gel + stencil technique, I need to get some practice with the water splashing. The finished piece is gorgeous, those carrots look good enough to eat 😊
