Good afternoon all , how has your week started? Ok , I hope.
What a busy few days I have had since we last had a catch up. On Thursday I went down to the NEC with a couple of friends and we spent the day walking, talking, and oh yes, spending some money. We certainly had a few bags of goodies to carry home, and our train journey was fun. A little packed but the bottles of wine helped.
Then on Friday , I drove down to join Barbara , Dave, Paul, Jayne, Lisa and Heather , ready for an early start on Saturday.
The Clarity stand looked fab and we were all soon ready to go, when crafters were in and signing up for the free Make and Take,, within a couple of hours every single slot had gone..and we could have filled more
Everyone went away with a gorgeous piece of art in the form of a coaster.
And they all looked so different
I must admit at one point I was playing and made myself a little snowman..( from the snowflake plate )
At the end of the day Paul needed to relax his shoulders
Then in the evening we went to a most wonderful bonfire , organised by Norma, now there is such a kind and generous lady...so much yummy food, and great fireworks too..
Sorry, I was too busy taking it all in, so this is the only photo I took...grrrrr
Fingers crossed Barbara may blog some more...Dave is the one who captured the evening .
Soon it was Sunday and time to get names onto lists, and on with the day...
At one point we had an empty chair, and I heard a young crafter say to her Mum, that she would love to join in. Her Mum replied that it would be too difficult...so I asked her if she would like to join us. Isla joined in, took to it and at 7 years old was my youngest crafter of the show..
She loved it,
And I have a strong suspicion that Father Christmas will be delivering something special for her..
More gorgeous work ladies....
I time just flew...and it was so good to catch up with so many friends...and to meet new ones.
I arrived home at 8-45 last night..and still had a contented grin on my face...
Today has been about walking the dogs, catching up on some house work and now I am on to getting some projects made for Saturdays workshop.
Thanks for popping in,
Take care all,
Much love and hugs

Wonderful Jo. Great to catch them young and your ladies looked as if they were really enjoying themselves. Lovely to see you, the Clarity stand was wonderful and of course I spent too much but lots to enjoy. xx
ReplyDeleteGlad it went well Jo, I knew it would. Such a shame we missed you xx
ReplyDeleteLooks and sounds like you have had a great weekend and a lovely time with friends, old and new. Loving the groovi in the coasters, they would make brilliant Christmas presents.
ReplyDeleteI have had a day of creating with some of the items I got at the SECC last week at the craft show. It has been lots of fun and has taken my mind off of my sore mouth.
It was brilliant, even when my brain failed and I had to start again due to spelling mishaps. I enjoyed my turn and every time I went past the stand, everyone was totally engrossed. I loved your snowman. xxx Maggie
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a lovely time. I'm sure everyone who could join in with your teaching learnt tons. Time for a rest now, lots of doggy hugs and some family time. Xx

ReplyDeleteIt was lovely to meet you on Saturday and thank you so much for the workshop. Erin loves her coaster! Never having tried the Groovi system before, of course I was hooked and amazed at what beautiful things can be achieved so easily. I bought the starter system and joined the Groovi club, so I am looking forward to lots of Groovi crafting in the future.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely people all youClarity team are. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, even though you must all have been exhausted. I hope to meet you again at another show. Thanks again.
