What a weekend.

Back to the weekend, Saturday was workshop day at C.J.Cardcrafts in Edgeley, Stockport and it was great to spend time with such lovely crafters....and made even better by a surprise visit from Julie....

Glynis who owns the shop is always on hand to help and advise too...If you haven't been into the shop , do go and have a look around...

Then home and it was time to pack the little van and head off to Anglesey.....

We found our campsite and it was just perfect...it was the first time that Eric has camped....lucky for us he was very good....

I had asked a very good friend to help out and Julie Jones you are a star....the hall was just brilliant. Plenty of space, lots of tables, chairs and a great kitchen...do you know Julie even brought the biscuits....

We started with using one of my favourite stencils, the sprig stencil.

 

Look at these wonderful cards,

Then we use our stencil brushes and created a scene...

And yes, I do love this wonderful little butterfly stamp...the ladies really made some beautiful designs.

After lunch it was time for more play with Stencils...

And I do love this Maple leaf stencil

Then to finish off we decorated tags....

And used lots of different techniques, stamps and stencils...

I do love to see all the different designs that everyone makes , very inspirational work ladies...

Thank you for making me feel so welcome , it is always good to make new like minded, crafty friends.

Whilst I was enjoying my day crafting, Karl, Tess and Eric were being looked after by Arwel, Julie's husband....they went for a long walk...and boy were they shattered when I got back.....

Meg , Julie's dog got on really well with Tess and Eric, which is a good job especially as Eric went to sleep in her bed...

We stayed in the van again on Sunday night and spent yesterday walking in the glorious countryside...

 

And we seemed to be on the flight path for training pilots..I do love to watch the jets fly over....

Tess was so tired at this point that she was curled up in the van....our little home...
