Good afternoon all, I do hope Tursday is treating you well, it has been a lovely day here today...and the dogs have really enjoyed spending most of their day in the garden..
Today I set aside some time to make my card for this weeks Less is More Challenge....
http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.co.uk
It is One Layer Card Week
And the theme is Home...
Oh how can you resist joining in????
Here is my design.
I decided to use a 6x6 card blank .....,
The first thing I did was to make a mask for this gorgeous Quirky Cottage stamp from Clarity.
Then came the stamping...I used black Archival ink..
Next the masks...
The reason for the masks is that I wanted to use the brick stencil behind the stamped images..
I do love Sail Boat Blue Adirondack ink...when the stencil is removed ...this is what we have...
To finish off I just added some colour using Spectrum Noir Pencils and then I did have to use my Charcoal pencils just to add a little depth...
I do think the shadow makes all the difference...
So there we are my ...take on a Clean and Simple ...one layer card....with plenty of white space.....
Do hope you agree...
I do love to read your lovely comments....and I would love it even more if you joined in with the challenge...

Thanks for looking in today....I must just go and out some washing in the machine...boys....they do produce so much washing...
Enjoy your evening...
Much love,
Jo. xxx
Oh, this is fantastic. I love the stenciled brickwork, especially in blue, and the charcoal shadowing really does add so much.
