Wee Fairy...

Good evening all, hope your day has gone well...it has been another busy day here and I have just got time for a quick cup of tea, whilst I chat with you...then time for dog walk number three....

Today I am going to talk you through one of the cards from C&C the other Sunday...

I felt that this follows on quite nicely after the Bokeh workshops yesterday...

So , I started with a piece of gelli card , some Distress inks and a mini blending tool...Then out came Jo's Bubbles Stencil...

This is just my take on the technique but I like to add some colour on colour circles first...

Then some white ones using the Brilliance white ink pad....I find it easier to mask off some of the circles...

Oh how lovely ....the background really does build up well...

Now it ws time to introduce the Fairies....the Wee Folk 3 and 4...

Some shrink plastic too.....

And those little white dots that I like to do with a gel pen......very Magical....

I do love these new stamps...as always you can find them on the Clarity website...

http://www.claritystamp.co.uk

So I will leave you with the fairies at the bottom of the garden...And go and walk these two....oh they do look like a pair of bookends!!!!

And yes they do have their own sofa....

Take care and see you soon.

Jo. xxxx

  2. Lovely fairies at the bottom of the garden, you make it sound so easy to do, my attempts don't look anything like yours, but yes I know practice practice and more practice. Love the photo of Tess and Eric , hasn't he grown ? Give them a hug from me xxx

  4. LOL, funny babes. Tess looks like she's posing 'hard done by'. I love this card and the technique. I finally got round to ordering the wee folk and your stencil and the mini blender and pads. I really love the way you use your colours, they seem so well blended. I can now pretty much spot your work a mile off! Love it, always very dfelicate, even when it's really vibrant.
