Workshop - Ultra Thick Embossing Powder

Have you ever used Ultra Thick Embossing Powder or, is it one those products that you have bought and it stands on the shelf?
Our first project today was an easel card in which we made a topper by stamping with the Hobby Art Floral Sketches stamps, with Momento ink and coloured in with ProMarkers. We then used VersaMark and 3 layers of powder to produce a tile effect.
For the second card, we started off by colouring our wooden embellishment with ProMarkers, inking with VersaMark and then embossing with UTE. A piece of card was embossed with 3 layers of UTE and then, Mica Powder was added, this was then reheated to make it 'fast'. At this point, a stamp was pressed into the UTE and left for a few seconds to cool. This is a great way to leave an impression!
Just thought I would share this with you, 3 flower shapes were cut out from paper, formed into a rose shape and then dipped into my melting pot containing the UTE (melting pot = empty Hotpot Pie container!). It gives the effect of enamel.
Thanks for dropping by, see you soon. x
