Blossoms Blooming

Hi everyone, 

I Hope you have had a lovely day. 

I have had a fabulous day , teaching a lovely group of ladies. 

It is so good to be back to actual face to face classes..

We had a relaxing day, creating, chatting and yes there was coffee and cake. 

Tomorrow is the first of May so there is a 

New Lavinia Challenge. 

I will be up and out at 6.30 am so I am blogging 

my dt inspiration now. 

I will be driving to Harrogate, and demonstrating Lavinia stamps on 

The Stampers Grove stand. 

I am really looking forward to seeing so many friends. 

Our new theme for the  May Challenge is 

Blossoms Blooming

I started by using white embossing powder to outline my stamped images 

I then added some of the new acrylic sprays

Followed by some of the Mysticals. 

This is such a fun way to craft. 

I added some white posca splats to complete the design

Friday catch up

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in today. 

It is always lovely to see you. 

I hope you are having a lovely day. 

I am busy getting ready for my busy weekend. 

You see I have a day workshop in North Wales tomorrow , 

and then I will be demonstrating Lavinia stamps on Sunday at the 

Harrogate show. 

I am really looking forwards to both events,

It is so nice to be able to get out and meet friends again, 

I think we all need it. 

Mind you I’m not sure about the very early drive on Sunday morning .

Thank goodness it is bank holiday on Monday and I can 

have a day off.

Tuesday already

Hi everyone, 

I do hope today finds you well. 

It has been a very busy few days here. 

So much so that this morning whist not concentrating properly 

I managed to put boiling water over my hand whist making a brew…

Not the best start to my day…hey hoo

We had a fabulous workshop on Saturday and wow, 

I am so proud of the ladies. 

What fabulous cards they have made. 

The classes are held in their own groups on Facebook, so that they can be joined in 

live or as catch up classes.

Spring Poppies

Good morning everyone and 

welcome to our new followers. 

I am so thrilled that you have joined our family on here. 

Please pull up a chair and get yourselves a brew…

3 new followers.

I am so, so chuffed 

Today I have another design using the new Lavinia sprays. 

I really have had so much fun using these. 

I started with an off cut of card, and just added some acrylic spray.

Totally randomly, no skill required. 

Then I just added some of my favourite stamps using Versafine Clair ink. 

I painted extra colour in using the sprays in my palate,.

You know how much I love to do this. 

I also made a ribbon bow and sprayed this to match. 

Some finishing touches and the design was finished 

Here is a closer look. 

I have been on grandma duties again this morning, and I am picking the boys up from nursery and school later. 

Pasta for tea. 

So I had better get myself organised ready for tomorrow’s workshop. 

I am really looking forwards to our Spring Florals class 

Such a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning. 

We have a couple of new ladies joining in too.

So I had better be on my best behaviour.

New sprays day

Good morning everyone and thanks for popping in . 

I have walked Eric and walked Elliot to school already today so I have 

720l steps in the bag already. 

I definitely need a brew in the garden later. 

I thought I would just have a catch up with you lovely friends first. 

Today is the day that the new Lavinia sprays are available on the website 

I have created some inspiration for you. 

I do hope you like it 

I started with a sprayed background. 

These are such fun to make, 

Next I added some stamping 

I used Versafine Clair ink and it worked a treat.

Next I painted with my sprays. 

I love doing this , and have made a YouTube video that will be out soon 

I then added some extra mica spray to the base of my card. 

Some finishing touches and the design was finished 

You can heat dry the sprays but I prefer to let them dry naturally , if I have the time. 

Please remember with the mica sprays they need shaking to mix in the mica , 

Also really Important please clean the nozzle for the mica sprays before putting them away…otherwise it may clog up.

Gel press, stencil , and some ink

Good afternoon everyone, 

I do hope that you had a lovely Easter weekend. 

It was so lovely to be able to spend some time in my garden. 

The boys really enjoyed their Easter Egg hunt too.

Today I have been in my craft room planning future workshops. 

I have some really exciting things in the pipeline.
