Coven Of The Blue Moon

Hi everyone,

I have grandma duties today and for the next few days…

We have been for a lovely walk in the woods 

Look what we found, 

Then we called in for ice cream on our way home. 

I just have a few minutes to have a catch up with you 

and remind you that the new 

Dream Witch Collection will be available tomorrow

I have another sample to share with you 

I started will a piece of clean up card 

Smooshing the inks from another project 

Next some stamping 

The size of these witches is fabulous for smaller cards 

Next I added some scenery, 

gradually building up the design 

And finally some Clean Color pens for those finishing touches.

I had better get back to the boys.

We are doing dot to dot pictures.

Time To Create Magic

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in again. 

I do hope today is going well. 

A wet day here in Cheshire, 

So recording videos, it is. 

Have you been looking at the samples from the design team using the new stamps ?

The Dream Witch Collection 

Will be available from this Friday the 30th August 2024

I have another sample to share with you 

This one started off with some stamping 

Do you recognise the Druids Pass stamp ? 

I added some extra hand drawn stones around the pass 

Next some stencil work

Followed by extra ink in the background.

Look how you can build up depth to the design.

The bats really are fabulous ,

Some finishing touches of colour, posca pen and magic. 

I just love how this turned out…

Bank Holiday Monday inspiration

We had a lovely walk in Delamere Forest this morning with Eric 

I have some inspiration for you today using some of the new stamps.

Friday catch up

It has been another busy one here

Always lovely to spend time with crafty friends. 

Eric had a Birthday  this week 

He is 10.

We went for physio on Thursday , and took cake for Katie 

and the rest of the staff at the vets.

They are so good with him .

Christmas Dome Time

Karl left at 5am this morning….I never get back to sleep 

So I got up early, fed and walked Eric then walked around the village 

So peaceful and beautiful at 7am….

Such a lovely time for a walk. 

I love that time of day…

Fabulous weekend.

Theresa provided some yummy cakes and Lorraine was wonderful as ever.

It was so good to catch up with our Tracey, and we even bumped into Annja in Ruthin. 

Karl picked me up in our little camper van and then we went to our favourite campsite at 

Llanbenwch 

Eric was in his element.

Yesterday was a relaxing day, we walked, we drank coffee , and we may even have snoozed, 

The weather was just the usual weather…

More autumn than summer 

but hey hoo….it was still lovely to be in the fresh air. 

Today has been, shopping, washing, and now catching up in my craft room..

Next online Class

Good morning everyone

I do hope today is going well 

Grandma duties here, then the boys have football club. 

I just wanted to pop in and let you know that 

Saturday 24th August ( next Saturday ) 

os our next online class 

This one has been asked for in my Facebook group by many of the crafters 

We are going to look at ways of using scrap card to make toppers, 

Plus designs for smaller cards…

It is good to use up what we have. 

After all we do collect things don’t we? 

I think we are Collectors…not just crafters…

A design ‘Just For You’

Hi everyone, 

I do hope today has started well.

Last night Karl took me to The Little Theatre in Knutsford to see 

Bonnie and Clyde.

Eric’s physio Katie is in it..

Wow, it was amazing

Today I have a little A6 design to share with you

I am using one of the wonderful Tim Holtz dies…

You know how much I love a wreath 

Along with some of our Mini stamps.

Have you had a go at a project using the Mini Stamps,? 

A few of the design team are challenging themselves 

Here is a close up 

I started off using one of the acetate circle masks and Blue Atoll ink 

I added some stamping 

Gradually building up the design 

I decided to add some colour to the die cut 

A sentiment and some posca splats…

A wonderful little card…

My amazing Friend Anne

Hi everyone, 

Hope you had a lovely weekend. 

Today I feel it is the day to have a chat about my lovely friend Anne, who so sadly passed away recently.

She has had her final goodbye and her ashes will now rest in her beloved craft room. 

Anne was the most amazing lady, kind, gentle, funny, and oh so talented. 

I first met her in person (after seeing a lot of her work on social media ) 

when I taught a Birthday party class for our friend Rachel 

I was so worried about meeting her…as I knew how talented she was .

Well, she was so lovely with me and we just clicked. 

I am so lucky that over the years our friendship grew, 

Here we are , I think it was 5 years ago at an Olga workshop.

We would message every day and meet up every week , we had a coffee and a catch up. 

David would drive Anne, the 3 of us having coffee and chat, then David would go and walk around 

the garden centre leaving Anne and me to have a second coffee and yes, more chatting. 

As you can imagine loosing her has left such a hole in my life, 

I miss her so much. 

I have so much to tell her too. 

Even yesterday when I was at Leigh show demonstrating I would usually bring her a gift back, 

Something Tim Holtz…

I used to tease her because they were friends…

I can only dream about that 

Over the years she has made me so many gifts…

I would like to share a few of them with you…

This bag that she made me, in Sir Tim’s fabrics travels with me all the time. 

Here it is ready for Leigh. 

Her attention to detail was amazing 

She loved all thing Halloween too 

And so many of her projects included lights 

She made me this robin when my dad passed away 

Recently she had taken up felting too 

She shared my love for highland cattle 

Although her passion was for sheep 

And 

I have also got hand written notes , 

I saved them all, 

and I am so glad that I did.

It really makes me think how important it is to hand write notes, cards etc 

So more important than the typed word..

I am so grateful that I had the pleasure of meeting Anne, knowing her as a friend…

I last saw her in hospital when we chatted, planned lots of outings this summer , 

and had a big hug…

That will stay with me forever…

So please make time for your friends…

Let them know that you care, 

Maybe just send someone a card today 

Just because 

Thanks for joining me…

and letting me share my thoughts and feeling with you all.
