Fabulous weekend

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in today. 

It is a wet day here in Cheshire. 

A surprise after such a lovely sunny day yesterday in Wales. 

The Lavinia workshop went really well on Saturday and we had such a giggle. 

It is always such a privilege to spend the day with such lovely ladies. 

It was great to catch up with Tracey,,.and thanks so much to Lorraine who was a star in the shop. 

Poor Adam had been admitted to hospital Friday night , and they transferred him to Stoke hospital on Saturday , so I 

was so worried…the ladies looked after me so well. 

Karl and Eric went for a walk and a coffee during the day then came back to pick me up.

We stayed at our favourite local campsite

Good to be back 

Sunday it was a bit cold and windy but the sun was out.

We went to see the donkeys. 

Walked down country lanes , listened to the birds 

and spent quality time together 

These guys really made me smile 

This tree is just spectacular 

It was just so lovely to spend time together after such a busy week. 

We are back home now, and I have extra grandma duties today…so I had better get on

Friday at last…

Hi everyone, 

I do hope your Friday is going well. 

It was busy here yesterday with grandma duties, plus Karl had to drive to Exeter to fix a machine…

Thank goodness he is on his way home now.

More grandma duties this morning 

Thank goodness it had stopped raining. 

I am just packing my bags ready for the class tomorrow. 

It is my first one of this year at Lavinia Stamps HQ in Ruthin. 

Such a lovely place to visit..

I am so chuffed that I am able to do what I do , 

I certainly couldn’t do it without all you lovely friends and followers.

Challenge Reminder

Hi everyone

It is a very wet day here in Cheshire 

I have just been out for a coffee with Danielle, so good to just chat 

and enjoy time together.

I started with multifarious card and some blending 

Next I had great fun choosing some animal stamps…we have so many fabulous ones 

Some dark ink to frame the design and some water splats 

Once dry I mounted it 

And added some sparkle, 

Well you need sparkle for the magic…

A sentiment and a crown, 

Just to add those finishing touches

Follow your Dreams with Botanical Blossoms Bud

Hi everyone,

Grandma duties for me today…so lots of steps in the bag already.

I am busy packing my bags now ready for our Cumbria workshop tomorrow. 

I do love catching up with these ladies, some have been with me since the beginning of my classes…

Many years ago…

Bless them 

Today I have a panel card to share with you. 

An old technique but using one of our new stamps 

Botanical Blossoms Bud 

(It’s not easy to say…just try it…and then repeat it ) 

I started off by taping my panel using 

Lavinia low tack tape

Next I added some ink 

Followed by the stamping 

After removing the tape I added a border.

Using my black fine liner pen…such fun 

and so many different borders to choose from 

A sentiment 

Some splats and some butterflies.

Monday catch up .

Hi everyone,

We had a wonderful couple of days, 

must admit though that I am shattered today. 

So good to see so many friends , 

and meet new ones too.

We had some young crafters joining in. 

It always makes me happy to see young people enjoying being creative.

This particular one really brought a tear to my eye.

Day 2 - Lavinia Spring Extravaganza

I must admit I am shattered today, 

Yesterday was so busy…

I had got up to 21,875 steps when I went to bed 

Phew 

I will definitely need to sit down for the next 2 days

Find Your Peace

Morning everyone,

1 more sleep and the new stamp collection will be released 

Bridge Your Dreams.

We also have the new Chalk Acrylic Paints and Flower Press.

I can’t wait to see what you make. 

I have some inspiration for you today using a couple of the new stamps 

I hope you like it 

Here is a closer look 

I started with some stamping 

Next I added some ink, 

This really is a great way to create designs…

Next a deeper colour around the design to add drama and frame the piece.

More stamping now, using some different colours of Versafine Clair ink. 

I love looking at my smaller stamps and seeing where I can use them 

Finally some finishing touches, colour, using inks and watercolour pencils , 

Sparkle and water splats 

A sentiment sticker…I love these 

And NO , it isn’t cheating…

I think Dana is so useful and she can sit in so many different places..

I think we need a competition, 

Spot Dana! 

Reminds me of some books the boys used to have 

A certain character in a red and white stripe jumper…
