Star Gazing in September

Hi everyone, 

I do hope you had a lovely weekend.

Our Lavinia workshop was wonderful on Saturday, 

It is always such a lovely way to spend the day. 

Crafting with friends, 

Just perfect.

Thanks so much to the ladies who came. 

Karl and Eric went for a walk in the morning and then took our little camper van and 

booked in the local campsite

We had a lovely evening and then Sunday it was our Wedding Anniversary 

35 years.

I couldn’t resist buying this in the Lavinia shop on Saturday 

So we went for a little drive around north Wales, stopped off for coffee 

Then back to the campsite for some bubbles. 

Even the rain didn’t spoil the day. 

We got up early and traveled back home this morning. 

So I have unpacked my craft bag, and recorded a YouTube video ready for next week.

Technique Tuesday with a watercolour tag

It is always lovely to spend time  with you.

It was very wet when I took Eric to physio today, 

We got wet walking there and back. 

At least the sun is shinning now,,

So maybe we can actually have a walk in the dry.

Monday catch up and a video

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in, I do hope you had a lovely weekend. 

Saturday was our monthly online workshop..an£ I kept my fingers crossed for the whole 2 hours as the internet was playing up..

Phew…we were ok…

A little bit of the picture freezing once or twice but on the whole …we did it..

and the ladies have created the most beautiful cards…

Well done all, 

I am so proud of you…

Sunday , I was demonstrating for Gwen at 

The Stamp Pad.

The weather was horrendous, and the shop had a power cut on Saturday. 

Thank goodness for lovely friendly crafters, 

A brew and. Cheeky biscuit and all went well.

Thanks so much to everyone who came..

The weather was still horrendous on the way home and parts of the motorway were under water,

So it took longer than it should have. 

Bless him, Karl had my meal ready, and greeted me at the door with a big hug..

And relax.

Today we were up early, 

Karl left at 5-30 as he was in Glasgow for the day, 

so Eric had another early morning walk. 

and yes it was raining. 

Thank goodness it had stopped when I took him out this afternoon. 

As it is Monday,

Workshop for Crafty Capers.

Hi everyone,

Another early start here…and another 

wet dog walk..

Today I am popping in to let you know about an upcoming online workshop..

I am so chuffed that Crafty Capers have asked me back to host 

another Lavinia class 

This will be my 4th one for them,,,

Honestly that really makes me so happy. 

The class will be on Saturday 26th August 

At 6pm uk time and 10am in Canada 

It will be held in its own group on Facebook, and can be joined in live or as a catch up,

Ginger having a Hoot in July,,,.

Wow, it is Monday already

We went up to spend some time  with my Mum, 

My craft life is so busy at the moment, I am working most weekends,

So it was lovely to have a day off and spend it with Karl, Eric and my Mum. 

Shame the weather wasn’t as nice.

Busy one here, Karl left at 5am and headed up to Glasgow. 

I have been on Grandma duties whilst Danielle has been with Adam.

We are off to hospital to see him tonight, when Karl gets home, and Danielle 

puts the boys to bed. 

It is Elliot’s 6th Birthday this weekend, I really hope Adam will be home and better for it.

What a weekend.

Hi, everyone, 

thanks so much for popping in today. 

I do hope you are having a good start to your week, 

and that you had a lovely weekend. 

I got home around 7pm last night after a fabulous weekend at 

The Fairy Craft Festival at Lavinia HQ in Ruthin.

Here we are on Sat morning, 9am before the doors opened and the  magic began 

We had 2 wonderful days of crafting, catching up with friends and meeting new ones. 

It is always so lovely to get to meet friends face to face…

And we were fairy faces too…

So much glitter and sparkle,,,

Jack is fabulous and always there to lend a hand. 

It was especially wonderful to meet Margie, 

She travelled all the way from Mexico.

Thanks so much lovely for my amazing gifts and all your help..

On day two, she was my ‘Little fairy helper ‘

I must say a big thank you to everyone who sat and watched me demo, who listened to me, 

and specially to those who spoilt me.

Honestly I am just the luckiest fairy around…

Chocolates, biscuits, Costa coffee. scone and Jam……can you see a theme here ? 

Also thanks Sue for the lovely earrings. 

I must admit that I am just a little bit tired today…

I may just need extra coffee and a granny nap

Pyrography

Hi everyone, 

Only me again

I am just popping in to share some pyrography with you..

As you know I just love to do this.

These Owls are just perfect , and the hobby is so relaxing 

For me, I always feel close to my dad when I do this, 

as he bought me a glass engraving kit when I was a little girl.

That that led on to the love of pyrography 

I have had so many crafters asking how to get strayed that I have created a 

Pyrography for Beginners class group…

Here we will look at the types of machines, 

types of wood to use 

plus also have a couple of live classes 

The cost is just £10 to join the class group. 

Once in the group, you can ask questions and join in

Friday fun

Hi everyone,

I do hope you are having a lovely day and that you have a

As you know I am off to Wales this afternoon, 

Off to Ruthin, 

Ready for 2 days demonstrating at the 

Fairy Festival…

And yes I am dressing up,,,!!!!

All good fun

Must admit though after Eric and grandma duties I am shattered…

So by Sunday evening I may just get home and drop into bed. 

I am really looking forward to seeing so many friends and meeting new ones too.

Some Pyrography

A branch or a tree ?

Hi everyone

It is always so lovely to see you 

I do hope you are keeping well 

Today I have another sample to share with you 

This time I have used the new branch stamp as a tree 

Well it would be rude not too 

Here is how I made it 

Some stamping to begin with 

Next I added some flowers along with a couple of birds 

next some grasses 

I decided to just keep the whole design clean and simple 

So I just added colour to the tree 

Some matting and layering 

A card fit for many occasions
