Catch up time.

Hi everyone, 

I hope today is treating you well. 

We are back home after the Lavinia workshop in Melrose and then a few days away in Ayr. 

So sorry for lack of blog posts.

I will try and catch up over the next few days. 

The workshop in Melrose..was fabulous 

It was such a pleasure to collaborate with James and Emma from 

Stampers Grove.

It was so lovely to meet old friends and make new ones. 

Emma provided the most wonderful lunch , and Eric 

made an appearance too.

We created 4 cards. 

Thanks so much to all the ladies who came…and yes after your wonderful feed back we are 

looking at another date later this year…

It was lovely to finally meet Kay ( after many years knowing each other on social media ) 

We stayed on a campsite in Jedburgh for 2 nights. 

It was perfect…

We then headed over to Ayr for a few nights..

I will leave that until my next post

That Friday feeling

What a week, so busy…

These originally came from plants in My Dads allotment , (they make me feel close to him ) my brother now looks after it and his hens.

Stamp Magic in Doncaster

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in today. 

I hope you had a fabulous weekend.

Mine started on Saturday morning with a trip to the garden centre. 

I had some vouchers from my Birthday (I got spoilt ) 

My Mum had bought me some fabulous pots so I needed some plants to go in them. 

Karl came with me…it cost me a full cooked breakfast for him..

We had a car full on the way home. 

I have even planted up my own hanging baskets this year.

Yesterday it was the Stamp Magic show at Doncaster 

Such a lovely show organised by Paula. 

I was demonstrating all things Lavinia on the Stampers Grove stand. 

Thanks so much James for asking me…

Kate was there too, demonstrating her stamps. 

Thanks for driving Lisa, and for being my right hand woman..

It was so lovely to see so many friends, 

and make new ones…

And I had a special surprise when I was given a present 

Some new Inky Binkies…

So good to be able to catch up face to face, 

Also to cuddle Rory….( he is a doll…but so life like. ) 

I must admit I am a little tired today…

but I am powering through, 

and catching up with emails etc..

That Friday Feeling

I have just got back from the vets, Eric had a check up..

His mouth is healing well, he has stitches, bless him and will be on 

soft food for a while.

I think he quite likes all the extra fussing though.

We have poor Jenson unwell too, 

He has tonsillitis once again, so he now has to go and see a specialist..

Tuesday and a February calendar page

Hi everyone, 

Thanks so much for popping in 

I have just been to pick Eric up from the vets, 

Bless him..

I am sat on his bed with him…and he is looking all sad. 

The X-rays showed that he has bone disease in his jaw and gum problems.

All associated with his autoimmune system , hence why he is going white and aging prematurely.

So today he had 5 teeth out and more to follow .

I feel for him so much…

I think I may be here for a while, he is just whimpering 

Good job I have todays video prerecorded

Today we are going to create our February page in our Calendar 

Once again this could be a card design or a journal page..

Lovely weekend

Hi everyone, 

Hope you had a lovely weekend. 

I had my monthly Lavinia workshop over in Ruthin. 

I do love these classes,  I am so lucky that I get to meet such wonderful crafters, 

and I just adore Jack…(we all do ) 

Eric got to visit the shop too. 

Karl and Eric came with me and went walking for the day. 

We then went to a local campsite, and wow it was fabulous.

So beautiful, such lovely people, fabulous toilet and shower block too.

They even had a little gift shop and a cafe…

Oh and a couple of donkeys.

I can thoroughly recommend it, so if you are coming to the Extravaganza, or just to visits the shop, 

and you need a local campsite

This is definitely the one…

We have booked in for my class in July too. 

We have downsized our van too…it was our first trip in the new one. 

So Saturday evening when we had a horrific thunder storm, she got well and truly baptised.

She is called Susan, Sassy Susan.

After one of my favourite programmes on tv, 

Susan Calman’s Grand Days out.

We are off to the Borders in a couple of weeks for a Lavinia Class in Melrose.

I can’t wait (neither can Eric )

Technique Tuesday with Dinkles

A busy day here with recording video , also Eric 

had to go to the vets. 

Bless him and he needs to go back next Tuesday for X-rays under anaesthetic and maybe a minor operation.

Up early

I was up very early so that  I could give Karl a lift…he is off to Wembley with his friends.

Bless him , I was recording a YouTube yesterday and he was asleep in his bed when I closed my craft room door. 

When I finished recording and opened the door

He was sulking at the bottom of the stairs….
