It is so good to be able to give something back.

Wonderful Wednesday

Hi everyone, 

I hope you are keeping well. 

It has been a very wet day here in Cheshire, although we did manage a walk in the park this 

afternoon with the boys (Elliot and Jenson ) and it did stay dry.

I do hope that you had the most wonderful Christmas. 

It was a lovely, quiet day here. 

I know so many of you had to change your plans, so I hope you 

still managed to enjoy your day. 

We saw Elliot and Jenson which was so lovely. 

Mikey and Fran were both working so we have had to have catch up phone calls, but that is ok. 

They are happy and healthy so that is the main thing. 

I received the most amazing Christmas cards this year. 

I just adore them all

Thursday catch up

Good morning everyone, 

I hope today finds you well .

How are your Christmas preparations going ? 

Ok I hope 

Mine were going really well until out of the blue I ended  up in hospital on Tuesday. 

Nothing to worry about, just a bad infection , only an overnight stay and a few drips to sort me out. 

What can I say, 

Christmas, a great time to be on antibiotics.

Seriously I am just glad to be back home and feeling a little better. 

This beautiful gift from Angie really made my week, 

So thank you lovely lady. 

I am so lucky to have such fabulous friends. 

My amaryllis is flowering beautifully too

Thanks Tracy. 

A few years ago some of my lovely friends from Hazel grove, 

gave me a Christmas rose. 

I have had it in a pot and loved it since. 

I am so chuffed, 

Look at it now, 

Definitely given and grown with love.

As I haven’t been able to craft for the last few days I have a few designs from previous weeks to share with you. 

These would make great personalised gifs.

Decorative gift tags

Good afternoon everyone, 

I hope today is going well.

I hope you had a lovely weekend. 

Our Christmas Charity workshop was fabulous and I am so chuffed to say we raised £700 on the day. 

I have also had a lovely lady from USA who joined in as a catch up, class 

So we now have £710 for the 

Alzheimer’s Society. 

Honestly I am so pleased and it is such a pleasure to be able to give something back. 

It has been a busy few days here catching up with magazine commissions and recording YouTube videos.

Monday again

Good afternoon everyone. 

I hope you had a lovely weekend and that your new week has started well.

Today I wanted to share one of my recent Aall & Create samples with you. 

As you know I adore to make this type of sample, 

Creating an illusion of 3D. 

I started by simply stamping the main background and then using stencil #109. Superbly Square.

I blended some ink through the aperture.

Next I added some shading. 

This is my favourite part. 

I added some posca splatters and some washi tape.

I am off now to catch up with my long list of jobs to do this week.

I think I may just make a brew first…and maybe get a cheeky biscuit to help.

Winters Dream

Good morning everyone, 

thanks for popping in. 

Welcome to December…and to a new Lavinia Challenge. 

Our new theme is 

Winters Dream 

I hope you like my inspiration…

Brrrrr 

The recent weather was my inspiration for this card. 

I started off with some stamping , first the feather 

and then the lodges. 

I still love this feather as a Christmas tree, don’t you ? 

Next I added some colour to create some scenery. 

Followed by some colour to the lodges. 

I wonder what the little hares are saying to each other, or are they singing carols ? 

I added some more stamping to frame my design 

And then added those finishing touches of chalk pastel pencils and mica minerals. 

Finally some liquid pearls and then a matching insert, 

Plus envelope 

The frosty look from the mica minerals really is fabulous 

I do hope you will have a creative time and enter the challenge.
