Halloween Book part 2

Unfortunately I am still suffering with this Covid bug , not only the sore throat and cough, 

but sore itchy eyes and cold sores…

Oh I look perfect for Halloween

As both of us have to self isolate we can’t even walk Eric. 

So we are having to leave him in the garden , on his lead, ready for Adam to call around and collect him. 

We have filled in our track and trace details, etc, 

Oh and slept so much. 

I must thank you all for your lovely messages, emails and texts. 

They have really cheered me up.

Lavinia Hallowganza

Good morning all, 

I do hope today finds you well. 

I’m afraid I am feeling a bit sorry for myself today. 

My throat, breathing etc got worse yesterday so I did another Lateral flow test 

This one was positive. 

So I did another one, 

Grrr positive again. 

Not only do I feel rough, but I am so upset about not going to the Lavinia open day 

I was really looking forward to catching up with Tracey and the gang. 

I have my costume at the ready, 

Some trick or treat sweets..

Oh, I just cried and cried. 

Both Karl and I have been for a PCR text this morning .

I wouldn’t mind but I have had both jabs, and wear a mask when I go to the supermarket 

So please do me a favour and if you are lucky enough to be able to go, 

Please say hi from me,,.

New Release Tomorrow

Good afternoon everyone, I do hope you are feeling well. 

I am still under the weather but praying that my voice and cough will be fine tomorrow to travel to Lavinia HQ.

You know how long this voice thing has been lurking….

I have a feeling that I am never going to be completely free from it…hey , ho 

Tomorrow is the start of the Hallowganza 

4 days of special offers, videos and the release of 9 new fabulous stamps. 

I have a little taster for you today 

It features some of the new stamps 

These are going to be so useful 

And we all need some Christmas Charms

I simply added some colour to my stamped  design. 

Liquid pearls and a bow completed the whole design. 

The new stamps will be on the Lavinia website tomorrow, plus 

available from the shop. 

So if you are travelling on Friday…you can pick them up. 

Fingers crossed I will see you then…

Just For You At Christmas

Good afternoon everyone, 

I do hope you are feeling well. 

I have got my sore throat and cough back, grrr

What rotten timing .

I Need to be better ready for our Hallowganza starting this Thursday. 

To run alongside the Hallowganza, Lavinia will have some new stamps on their website. 

One of my favourites is this modern and elegant wreath stamp.

How could I resist a wreath card 

I just stamped the design and then added some Brusho powders. 

Nice and simple. 

Very useful especially when you need an understated but effective design.

This one involves more stamping and adding colour. 

You can add more stamping in the centre of leave some white space, it is up to you.

Sycamore key

Good morning everyone, 

I hope you had a wonderful weekend, and that this week has started well. 

We had a fabulous online class on Saturday and I can’t believe how many ways you can use texture paste. 

I can safely say that some ladies have some homework to finish, 

Today I am going to share a sample from the recent ODS on The Craft Store. 

It features some beautiful new stamps from Tracy Evan’s. 

Here is a closer look 

I must admit we call these helicopters, and funnily enough , the other day I was showing Elliot how they fly down from the trees .

They still spin like helicopter blades….just like they did when I was young. 

I started by creating a simple circle with ink. 

Next I added some stamping 

Followed by some colour. 

I stamped the sycamore keys again so that I could decoupage them 

I also stamped on a mini lollipop stick and added some white highlights. 

Some shadows just finished off the whole design. 

Just perfect for an autumnal card.

That Friday Feeling.

Good afternoon everyone, 

I do hope your day is going well. 

It was a bit wet this morning walking Elliot to school. 

Thank goodness for lovely warm coffee when I got home. 

Today I have a couple of samples to share with you. 

These are using a fabulous new stamp set by Bipasha BK 

Just some simple stamping 

And then watercolour painting

You know how much I love doing this. 

Great way of getting a wonderful effect. 

It is best to let the card dry naturally..

I hope you will be able to watch the shows this weekend, as it is Aall & Create’s 5th Birthday

I will have to watch some of the shows on catch up as we have our Texture Paste online class tomorrow

Another catch up video

A wet Tuesday in Cheshire

Good morning all from a very wet Cheshire. 

Eric was a very wet Labrador when we got back from our walk this morning. 

Good job he likes the rain.

I have been very busy these past few days creating samples with new stamps and stencils from Aall & Create. 

This weekend it is their 5th Birthday on The Craft Store. 

So there are lots of shows and new products.

Sweet Treats

The boys had a great time and we came back with quite a few pumpkins.

An ATC card design

Good evening all, 

Oh where has today gone ? 

Time has whizzed 

So before I go for my shower and get my pj’s on

Dandelion Wishes

It is very wet here in Cheshire, we have got soaked when walking Eric today. 

I think all four of my water butts are now full.

The Magic Meadow

Good morning everyone, 

Wow we are in October already. 

Where or where is the time going ? 

The first of the month means a new Lavinia Challenge. 

This month our theme is 

The Magic Meadow 

We have so many amazing stamps that are just perfect for this challenge 

I had great fun creating this piece of inspiration for you. 

I started by smooshing some ink on my card. 

Adding the colours one at a time, drying the card in between each colour. 

Next I added some red ink along the edge , sprayed it with water, and watched it drip down the card. 

I do love this effect. 

I stamped my dragons and added more ink around the edges of the design 

Next I added some background stamping to help create depth in my meadow 

I added more flowers using black ink to bring them into the foreground, 

I then added some highlights and some sparkle. 

After all this is a Magical Meadow 

I used glossy accents to add the finishing touches.
