First Christmas card of the year,

Good evening everyone and thanks for popping in. It has gone very cold outside , and I believe we may be in for some snow over the next few days.

Today it was the first workshop of the year and it was so good to be back with the ladies.

I am so chuffed to say that I have made my first Christmas card of the year,,,yah....I have never been this organised before !!!! lol..

We used the fabulous Jayne Nestorenko stamps, I do love these...

One of my latest obsessions is Kraft card . This design is stamped in Potting soil Archival ink , coloured with Spectrum Noir pencils and then some Picket Fence Distress ink.... another must have ink pad

The snow is Ultra thick embossing enamel , and heated from underneath, now that was fun today,,,,and we didn't need the fire extinguisher.....although I was looking forward to seeing the fire men,,,,( well men in uniform.....)

We just took our time and enjoyed using these great stamps ,

Here is a very quick and easy design ,

So I am now ahead....I can tell you that it won't last long...

This afternoon , Eileen ( aka the camel lady ) noticed that I seemed to have a bit of a husky voice....

Well by the time I got home , it sounded worse, and now it has almost completely gone...

Karl thinks it is wonderful and is looking forward to some peace and quiet....

So on that note , I am going to make a hot chocolate ...

Enjoy your evening..

Much love and hugs

Jo. xxxx

A great afternoon Jo. It was lovely to be back all together again :)
These stamps are really great to use(you know how much I love Jaynes' designs) and I'll have to invest in the ultra thick enamel - that was really cool and great to do something different. I hope that hot chocolate soothed your throat. You'll have to get Karl to tuck you up and keep you warm! Feel better soon Chrissie x

These are beautiful cards Jo. I love the use of kraft card, and you've really done Jayne's drawings proud. Sorry to hear that you are feeling poorly, the weather forecast isn't very encouraging either! Keep warm, stay indoors and make a few more Christmas cards. Hope you are feeling better really soon x

Hi Jo,
Lovely cards as always. Makes sense doing Christmas cards in January rather than in July when the suns out. Hope you feel better soon, no fun being poorly when you are such a busy lady.
Love MFM

Wow, well done on starting your cards already! I really like the white ink on the craft card. I got some from Crafters Companion called dessert storm (I think) its a softer colour of craft. Looks lovely with pencils. I got these stamps too late for Christmas so will be using them this year. Xx
